Robert Frost once said "i shall be telling this with a sigh, somewhere ages and ages hence, two roads diverged in a wood and i-i took the one less travelled by and THAT has made all the difference" The poem is clearly open ended. W/we all have choices to make and paths that W/we go on. Some lead us to hard times, others to joy.

How does one let go of the past when it is so painful? How does one move forward. in my opinion, one step at a time. allowing others to help you through it is really an important part of healing as well. do not run from them when they are there to support you but do not depend so heavily on them that you are unable to walk on your own merits.

recently i have had a girl i know released. it is a blessing that she has now been granted this as her relationship was emotionally and potentially fiscally abusive. the pain she is in right now pales in comparison to what might have been had she stayed longer. she understands that now. but i wonder as well what do submissives do when they feel they have lost it all...

i guess that is why i am beginning a website devoted to reaching out to those in pain i have seen so much of it and hope that others in the community support those that suffer in such a way. my little pet project www.startinghere-startingnow.com is my way of helping others begin again. not to walk away from the lifestyle but to remember they are not alone and that others CAN be there and give to them if nothing more than a friendly ear...a direction to the kink aware professional website... or something a little more if need be.

looking through my rose colored glasses again i believe that each person can make a difference and should whenever the opportunity presents itself. but those that help must also remember to not become so overburdened that they no longer do a good but a disservice by enabling someone to remain in such precarious circumstances.

to my sister slave i wish her love comfort and support without judgement the same as i offer to those others who cross my path and need solace. it is just a thought out loud but what is the take on having a sort of "crisis" online hotline for submissives who need to talk or need guidence...i would love to hear some genuine CONSTRUCTIVE feedback on this idea....thank Y/you for sharing Y/your thoughts with me
warm hugs
