yasminad -> Please help me find information... (5/27/2008 5:21:40 AM)

Good morning everyone.
I've looked on these forms for the better part of a week, and I can't find any information regarding "sub space."  Perhaps its because I'm still terribly new to these forums, and I'm not sure how to manuver my way through them yet.
My masters have asked that I do some research on sub space, and this forum was recommended.  Can anyone help me find information?  Please send me a PM.

Thank you for your help.
~Yasmina

Top right of your screen you should see a link called "Search". You'll find a blue million threads on subspace :)

Oh thank you thank you!
I couldn't find the search option before...I haven't felt well all week, maybe that's why.

LOTS of good information!  Thank you so much!

You can also target entire threads on a topic, by searching just in Topic, or just in Subject.  You get different search results for each, and frankly, I'm not sure the difference between a search term being in the topic line, or being in the subject line.

And, you might search for both "subspace" and the phrase, "sub space."  But I leave it to someone else to explain how to search for a phrase, on these forums, because I've never had good luck with it.

Suggestion, while looking up subspace you may also wish to investigate subdrop. Hopefully you won't hit it, but if you do best if you know what it is.

Answers to questions may be useful to others, is the general idea behind a forum. So no PM, hopefully reading your own thread isn't too much of an effort.

You may want to learn to use Google - this is the first entry Google comes up with when you do a search on "sub space". Or had you done this search, and don't find what you're looking for in Wikipedia? We await with baited breath...

Not too much effort, I'm just short on time.

This forum was recommended to me as a starting point for my research, which is why I didn't try google or wiki.

(also, I wasn't feeling well this week, so...my common sense is GONE. lol)

Thanks!

One of the things you might find a bit hard to google, and sometimes is a bit hard to find in threads is that 'subspace' is not realy just "one thing" in it's expression.  And that is can express in a multidimensional aspect.

You'll get a lot about 'endorphin release/rush' and the 'endorphin drop' after the fact (subdrop) and quite a bit of subjective experiences of people 'flying'; and occationaly the emotional results as well; but I have not seen to meny people actualy talk about the various 'dimnsions' of experience:

Example:  One 'dimension' may be the ability to vocolize. (i.e. talk)  some people find they can talk; others that they simply can not talk at all.   A second dimension may be the *motivation* to talk / comunicate.  So you could have a case where one person is motivated to talk / comunicate (axis A) but is unable to (axis B) even if asked a question, while another has zero motivation (axis A) but has complete ability to do so (axis B) if asked a question.

And those  are not the only two 'dimensions' of experience by any means.  At one point a few of us came up with a list of what we had seen as the most comon 'dimensions' of expression; and it seemed that there was only about 5 'comon' ones; and a few other semi comon ones; and the rest were totaly individual in expression.  But it's been a while; and we never did write it down.  (Just one of those conversations that happens I guess)   I belive (totaly from memory here; so don't quote me on it!) we had come up with: Voclization Ability; Comunication Motiviation; Self-Actualization Ability; Out-of-Body/Disconnected Body; and Mental Dissacociation (as in totaly 'leaving' the scene and going somewhere totaly different)

But you might want to take a look at that as well.....
