Two and a half years unowned. Why? Because my trust levels are damaged and I'm not putting my heart out there again. One can only give so much emotionally without getting back before they quit out of self preservation. I will bottom, I might even submit temporarily IF someone shows me that I can trust they won't harm me... but ownership? Not anytime soon.

I have never been owned. I was collared for a brief 3 month period, but I think that is more along the lines of a short-term lease. Which makes me think. Do subs depreciate in value once owned and taken for a spin? What is the black AND blue book value of a sub? Does the government offer you rebates if your sub is cost effective and ecologically friendly?

Ok, all silliness aside. I've had relationships with strong D's undertones, but my venture into the Gorean world of M/s was the closest I came to being owned (not counting my marriage of 10 years). It wan't for me. I loved the sense of being a part of a structured family unit, but third girl of five, not so much. I don't mind sharing, and I do play well with others - BUT, well - I'm a frm believer in the ideal that you should never own more than you can afford to mainain properly. Maybe if there had been a complimetary kajiru or two - to serve as proper maintenance men, I might have felt differently. Hmm, ok, maybe SOME silliness aside.

To answer the question of how long have I been unowned - I'd have to say I've been untamed damn near my entire life.
