Faerie 350 sq ft. My 2 closets in my Master bedroom are each that big. Im thinking of putting an electric fireplace in my cube here at work.

Before I moved up here with my sister, I lived with my daughter and her Partner, I called it the mansion on the lake.
It had 2 Master Suites and I used the upstairs one. I also had a closet about the size of the main living area. A huge bathroom free standing shower and jacuzzi tub, then a huge bedroom, all to myself.   Gads some days I just wanna my sister to disappear on the weekends so Im not forced to watch all her tv programming.
The only reason I moved here was to take care of Da Pye and he is gone now. So Im missing that nuture factor.

good point! The only thing a delay does is make it impossible for working parents to drive the kids to the bus stop or to school. If the schools were on time the parents could be a few minutes late for work if they wanted to take the kids to school themselves

don't you wonder how this occurs? Seriously?

We are in such a rural area that the school buses pick the munchkins up at the front door, so at least the kids get a break in that respect

We have had two incidents of just that this year.  A little kid was left on a school bus and not found for like 8 hours or so.

The other a mentally challenged boy got left on a metro bus and took forever to find him.

Whats with that, these drivers cant take 1 minute to walk the length of the bus and back?

Do kids actually stand outside and wait for the bus?  Around here the parents/grandparents drive 'em to the bus stop and wait with them in warm cars.  I was fortunate in that my home is at the corner for the bus stop, so my kids could wait inside until the bus showed up.  Although I always did my due dilligence in making sure the bus stop area was shoveled.  I no longer have to do that!

My kids had a long walk to the bus stop. They use to complain that the deer were always stareing at them.  Holly teach your kid how to drive and buy him a Hummer.

im originally from the prairies of Nebraska and spent 15 yrs in MN, so i know how cold holly has it today...so at least i dont have to ruin my hairdryer.

i used to have to walk to school regardless of the weather, no one batted an eye, just handed me a scarf. If i didnt show up for supper, meh, one less mouth to feed....sniffle.

hey perse, i spent 17 yrs in MN. I remember treking to the bus pick up at the end of the street. dark. freezing. god forbid we forgot to dry our hair before we went out. insta-freeze! my mom had all of us in 3 different schools at many points, so a car ride was NOT an option.

i don't REALLY miss those deep freeze days.

Huggs perse. There were no school buses during my youth. We had a very long walk to school by ourselves. If we did not show up for supper we did not eat that day. I ate at friends house a lot.
