  I don't know why but the gelcaps never work for me. Only the liquid. At least the cherry is marginally better than the original green crap....

it never worked for me at all. Perhaps the fact that it tastes so bad i never took it had something to do with it. I always go for the Alka-Seltzer Plus.

Status: offline 		  My dad started me on Nyquil when I was young. I got sicker than a dog at his place one year and he had me take a full dose of the stuff. I immediately puked it back up in the sink. He made me take another dose and I passed out for 18 hours. BUT felt a HELLUVA lot better when I woke up. Been using the junk since then.

  Of course, they've changed the formula since then and it's not as effective but it still works best for me when I'm bad off like lately. Alka Seltzer never touched me....

Ya, right. Yer just jealous because we get to go see Watchmen! Something we'd been planning for about the last year, especially once the release date was announced. We just didn't know we'd have to get a sitter. Life changes and all that good stuff.

I can't do Alka-Seltzer...something about the bubbles.....makes me want to heave everytime I've ever tried it....and I use the Wal-mart brand of the cherry flavor...it's not as bad as the real Ny-Quil.  Same effect, just different flavor....still makes me shudder and make a face tho.  But hey, after about 30 minutes, you don't care!!!  WOOOO-HOOO!

How is everyone today?

I am feeling slightly better.  I have some stupid cold.  Of course, Butterhead has the same thing, but hers is RSV, she gets a fancy name for her cold.  Hrmph! 

I still have a squeaky-Minnie-Mouse voice, but I am sure that LOTS and LOTS of hot coffee is the cure for that.  LOL
