BTW, Angel, I went to that "Quilt Store" at the Mall. [:(]  What a bit of a disappointment. It's not what we would consider a quilting store but an actual QUILT store where you can purchase premade quilts and linens. You know the mass-produced, machine made type quilts? Though they did have some nice linens, including the gorgeous bamboo fiber sheet sets, some wonderful doonas and duvet covers. Lumus was laughing at me looking at the colours and patterns of the fabrics on the sheets and covers. [>:]  He thinks it's funny that I want to "pretty up" the apartment.  *sighs*

(I'm a woman, what can I say?!?)

[sm=dunno.gif]  I have mentioned about getting a few houseplants but I haven't said anything about wanting a few prints for the walls. I think a new comforter and wall decorations would brighten things up since the walls are painted tan. Maybe some floral swags, a wreath, things like that. They're not too frilly and girly, are they?

of course they are not too girly. And my guess is he will (perhaps secretly) love the changes you make.

Considering that I'm not a pink and purple person, I doubt that it would be too bad. Maybe a little mauve, but I tend towards blues, greens, yellows, oranges, peach tones, things like that. Warmer tones. Or jewel tones. And I'm not talking about totally redoing the apartment. Just adding a little decoration.

(Just a little...... Or maybe more.)

Uhhhh, no. My strength is in colours, what looks good together, what doesn't. I can put a look together but I wouldn't say that I'm good at art, other than appreciating it. I know my weaknesses. (And strength.... Martha Stewart I am not - thank goodness!)

Well if you are good at putting colours together then maybe get a few fabric samples and show them to Lumus and see if he likes it, he might appreciate your thoughts going towards the place

Oh I'm not worried about that, Sub4You, it's just that Lumus, in typical "guy" fashion, doesn't see the need to "pretty" up the place. I just moved here to his apartment and it's a bachelor pad. Clean, well-kept and serviceable but plain. I'd just like to add some "homey" touches, not too much, just a few. We agree on colours and he won't object when I do it. He just chuckles and lets me go about my business. I think he finds it funny. [;)]

Holly, you have no idea.

I wanted to cry last night, but had to hold back, or else it would have been ten times worse.

RS and I were on the phone and he had me drink tea with brandy and honey in it. THAT got me knocked out; and the 1100 Ibuprofen helped.

Well, if the other star ever shows her lazy ass here, you'll find out. Usually it's holly and Potty bad-mouthing each other with me filling in for one or the other. [:D]  But I'm just the lowly co-star without billing credit.

Thank goodness, means I don't have to pay taxes!
