She's had a family emergency and can use all the encouragement we can send her. Nursy, I hope things work out well there. Custody battles are nasty things, I wish people would just pull their heads outta their asses and put the children first. Why do such horrible things that only hurt the children? [>:]

Thanks Rain. Unfortunately the Polish system is very archaic and believes that the mother has the rights to the children - regardless of the welfare of the children. (I haven't even mentioned that there is occasional abuse in the home and the kids caught her in bed with someone she wasn't married to!!)

Thanks guys.....it's been a rough week....my nephew had an accident, he's banged up pretty good. So far, so good, we're keeping our fingers crossed. He's got a lot of work ahead of him. Pots....great news about Jilly and Jolly! Don't count on sleeping in any more.....as soon as the sun cracks the horizon, I have one head butting me to get up. Or, you could try slipping THEM the Ny-Quil! (Only kidding.....really!) Holly, I'm glad that your arm is healing....DO WHAT THE DOCS AND NURSES TELL YOU TO DO!!!!!! How's the LO doing? Helping mom out? Better behave, or we'll all tell Jim! Rain, thanks so much for your kind words on the other side......and for listening. Greedy...ya did it right agin! We got more rain! WOOO-HOOOOO! I'll be popping in and out.....I can always count of everyone here to make me smile, snort, or just downright laugh out loud, and that will come in pretty handy. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone!

Thanks Hotty......it helps to have someone to talk to. I just had to take a break today, or I was going to go bonkers. I still picture my nephew as this little 12 year old kid.....seeing him now just breaks my heart. I try NOT to think about what our favorite klutz Holly did...I have a very vivid imagination, and can still picture tissue and blood on the door handle.....I watch too many slasher/horror pics! I still cringe......

I actually witness the start of it all this AM....I had one eye open (Yes, like Popeye the Sailorman), Jilly was sleeping right by my side, Jolly jumps up, hits Jilly, she immediately stands up, "Meow" and starts to rub noses w/me........Meow, meow, meeeeeef**ing ow!!! Translation.............TIME to get up! We want our wet food NOW!

It's especially fun when the cats are playing tag, tearing through the house leaving troughs of carpet in their wake. Then they just happen to run up and over the bed, and me. That's always a fun one to wake up to, hearing the pitter patter of little feet followed by a thump and what sounds like threats of imminent demise. As I'm blinking one walks back in and looks at me as if to say "Oh hey you're awake. What are you doing up?" S2S good luck with all that's going on with you. Even random strangers are putting you in their thoughts. Same goes for you holly! You're a menace and a crazed clutz. Probably why you get along so well here! [;)]
