I'm hoping so.. I have an estimate for under 2k, so MAYBE... I just gotta get him down to the shop I got that estimate from...
I cant afford for my car to be totalled.. I'm still paying on it, plus if they DO total it, it'll be the second vehicle in 2 yrs.. say buh-bye to my policy with them which would seriously suck, as I've been with them almost 20 yrs... If they total it, I truly doubt I'd get enough for it to be able to buy another car outright (its a 93 blazer).

Status: offline 		Greedy...is the frame bent at all anywhere?  I sorta missed the whole accident thing, as usual, came in late....but if there's no frame damage, they might not total it.....but then again.....ya never know...insurance companies suck!  Find out what the kelly blue book is for the vehicle......go in there with a bit of knowledge and maybe you can convince him not to total it.

Status: offline 		The frame doesnt seem to be tweaked (no way to know until they do the work/alignment/etc).  But since it's a 93, the value is low anyway.. the estimate I had done at the preferred provider was apparently more than the KElly value.. which is why I'm hoping I can convince them to go to the shop I want..

ETA: I just checked Kelly's site.., in prime condition, the vehicle would retail for just over 4800.00.
Fair condition for private sale would be 2700.00
