Folding towels is easy-peasy.  It is the sock folding that I dread.  Oh yes I do.

Status: offline 		i simplify the sock folding we now have a sock bag....if ya want socks you find the match... i know terible mom BUT it works and im not spending hours trying to find perfect matches.

my plans for the rest of the weekend, sulk over Art leaving early this morning. i was expecting and needing Him to be here throughout the day. He has a great reason, somehow managed to forget to his daughters birthday and He is an excellent day, but still leaves me empty inside, especially after O/our last few weeks.

Doing mud covered jeans the teen brought back after going camping with a friend here. Laundry never sleeps.

Next for my plans is to sneak in a dishwasher before more dirty laundy appears.

Status: offline 		So...the lil dude asked if he could play kickball. Well sure...no problem. He was outside for about three minutes when i went out to play with him and saw that his "kickball" was a cantaloupe.

I know of 2 things that you can do with a really huge zucchini:

1.  Cut in half and hollow it out.  Mix up your favorite meatloaf recipe and stuff it into the zucchini (all non-Jews and Muslims should now wrapp teh zucchini in bacon) and then bake at a low temp for several hours.  This is nice for when you want to have a nice dinner but have lots of errands or such to run.  The zucchini keeps the meatloaf moist, and it of course can drain all the fat.

2.  Cut the zucchini in half and hollow it out.  Make a mast and sails for it.  You now have a boat.  Kids love this. 


Seriously though, as long as you shred the zucchini really fine (food processors are your friend) you can add it to cookies, muffins, nut breads, s'ghetti sauce, sloppy joes and stir fry.

Well, it is the evil laundry pixies.  They sneak into your house and dirty your clothes.  The only thing that keeps them away is lots and lots of cookies.  The only problem with this is, the evil clothing-shrinking fairies get in the house, as they are attracted to cookies.  So, you end up having to buy new clothes.  If you get rid of the cookies and replace them with carrots and apple slices, the laundry pixies will return.

It is a vicious cylce I tell you!

Smart boy!

I did 7 loads of laundry (all of it my own), and scrubbed and cleaned every room in the apartment.

I love on-lazy days.  Now I feel like I can meet anything that comes my way this week, because I have a clean house!
