Yep, I just got off the phone with the lady I've been dealing with......they approved everything here in J'ville......so I had the job when they cancelled my Tampa interview. She said she should hear something today or tomorrow, Monday at the latest, about WHEN I can start.....she said maybe the end of October, Lord, I hope not!!! I am bored to tears!!! I wanna go to work NOW! (That's something you don't hear too often from anyone, huh? I'm weird that way!)

OK, back to our regularly scheduled nonsense....I just had to share with someone, and all my family is at (UGH) work! So ya'll have to put up with me dancing around here for a bit!

Yay!!!! That is good news soul! Here let me dance with you...

WOW....I'm feeling for ya'll in PA right now.....looks like NY ad OH, too on the Weather Channel.....snow on the ground. It looks like it's that heavy wet stuff too....that's gonna hurt! Hope everyone gets thru it......they are calling for lots of tree damage too....that's a bummer!

It's too damned early for this white stuff. Winter storm warning through Sunday night. Meaning a damned noreaster.
Town is down in the valley, there it's just rain. But two miles out, up the mountain where I am, it's sticking.

However the fire is blazing. We have fresh pumpkin bread and a pumpkin apple cake to snack on, and I made a great chicken pot pie which we enjoyed. I've still got pumpkin left and don't know what else to make. Except maybe muffins. I may just measure it out and freeze it in one cup increments.

Another woman in my office was there, and we were comparing notes. She said her butt hurt, and I said mine hurt in really weird places. Not the usual glutes.

So, all y'all will have to use your imagination!

Hib, are you supposed to get snow? We're good so far, but the forecast calls for rain/snow only 50 miles north of here.

Nah, not really, most government places have their paperwork that has to be signed off at whatever capitol HQ office, and then once they get it all done, they try to start you on a new pay period date, but I'm not sure how that works here, they only pay once a month, on the last business day of the month. The J'ville post here has to wait for Tallahassee to decide when I can start......I'm really used to all that waiting. But it's just that i'm soooooo bored!

Life was easier when we used tape cassettes. When you absolutely positively were going to kill if you heard the same songs again you could just give the kid the cassette to pull all the tape out of.

More snow/rain mix today. Ick. But no delays.
