Yep, holly...Celeste is right......if the workers aren't there, then it's regular speed limit time.....the idjit cop should have known this.....go to court, fight the sucker......and as long as you get the registration renewed, that ticket should just drift off in the wind....it's like a blown light...fix it and it is dismissed.


Is it like that in the US???

I always thought that this speed limit is not only for the workers but also due to the work they are doing...

E.g. if someone ripps off half of the street to replace cables or whatever...then it should still be treated with care when you drive through, does not matter if the workers are there or not...or do I understand your version of construction side wrong

thanks for the advice, guys...and i will appeal (at least the points). But the flashing lights designating a construction zone were on (i checked after the fact).

Status: offline 		GAH!!!!!  I have been working my muscles into little hurty things trying to put this bookcase together.  At one point, I couldn't get it to fit so I gave it a smack with the screwdriver handle.  Who knew there was a gap between the plastic woodgrain shit & the particle board it covers??  So I think, no problem.  All I gotta do is put the bottom on & they'll never see that little hole.  HA!!!!!  The bottom won't fit into place & now I have a camscrew that won't come back out so that I can get it to tighten up again.  I hate this!!!!!  And where the fuck is she with that Super Max burger anyway????

Hmmm I dunno...I simply learned to follow those speed limit signs and usually I do...after all....I am a sub...so I know to do as i am told

That being said on the first day I passed my driving licence I did not see one of the red traffic lights (as I was focused already on the next one ahead) and went through...thank goodness they did not realise it which was amazing as in that town where it happened they have a heck of a lot of controls...that would have been a pain to pass in the 3rd attempt and then to loose it straight away the day after

Also before I left Germany I was once pictured which I think was unfair...however, they never got me as they wanted to talk to my dad (it was his car and I was on my way to an interview and was late as I got lost) in that respect and he replied to them that it was not him....which was true...they tried it again and got the same answer....they they tried to accuse my mum of being the offender...(I was already saying to just pay it and to accept the point or so in the driving license) who then also - of course - said that she did not drive the car...and then they gave up *lol*

I can only think that they obviously did not see the driver very clearly due to how the sunlight was fallen at that moment (which led to being pictured in the first place) as otherwise they would have never accused my dad anyway as they would have seen that I am a female driver...

And in Germany if you go to court and the picture is not clear then you wont get charged as the evidence isnt good (I worked at the court and at the police in the writing department so I dealt wit that stuff, hence I know it). So I guess they gave up after my mum said it wasn't her either as they have not had a good picture which would have been from use at a potential court case. So I guess they assumed not to get anywhere with us Their mistake not to simply ask the driver who drove his car as some councils do!!! So I had a lucky and narrow escape

But apart from those 2 incidents...I did fine so far....particular my last 7 years I had no traffic issue....

ok, ok, ok...I do admit...I don't have a car since I gave away mine 7 years ago

Status: offline 		Evening y'all.  Made it to Austin with a bit of rain following me.  Had some Chinese and my Lizard is trying on the PJs Mom and I got her.

Tomorrow, if it is not raining, go to my former lawyer's office to clear up a small debt and finding a MP3 player that last over 40 miles.  Also getting a copy of Elder Scrolls 4 for the PS3.  Getting set up for Lizard's 15 b'day during the weekend (reserving a hotel room with an indoor pool.)
