Unbelievably...it caused no damage to the window itself, but the impact was so hard it not only knocked the curtain down, but also the brackets that held the curtain rods.
Thank God no one got hurt. Now then, clumsy...errrrrrrrrrrr, heavenly...let someone else (Jim, a neighbor, ANYBODY) be the one to go out on the ice to get the ice cleared up. Oh damn!!!! you did not slip on the ice once it was in the bedroom, didja? ~grins and runs, then from a safe distance~ you've got mail, by the way.
