I just tried to back Jims car out of a snow drift.
Put it into D instead of R.
Hit the gas a wee bit too hard.
The front bumper is on the snow pile.
The front wheels are air born.
That puppy is going no where.

Front wheel drive is pretty useless in a situation such as this.

Well, you can come visit me and play with it. 

Otherwise, it looks like you are a bit too south for our route to Yorktown Heights.  However, you might message the groundhog about it and see if he wants to change the route.  (It would not really change the milage much.)  We do not ask me to make changes in driving routes, as I can only find airports.  And usually not the correct airport.  What can I say, it is a gift.

we actually damn near needed one to get the silly car out of the snow pile. The warmer temps made everything melt a bit, then refreeze, so the bumper was encased in a block of ice. The only thing on the ground were the rear tires. Jim was afraid if we tried to pull it out with the 4wd, the bumper would stay in the ice while the rest of the car was pulled free.
Shovels, ice chippers and buckets of hot water finally freed the stooopid thing.

How is everyone tonight?

I actually did not have to work too much today, so I am feeling much more awake and alert.  I am even considering writing a reply to the "Babies in Bars" thread. . . I am kind of afraid of getting lynched though.  And not the Dorthy kind.
