Status: offline 		Back...he took a chest x-ray, blood and urine work, and a MRSA test to see if that is the rash that is on my shoulders chest and neck.  I am now 283, somehow gaining 20 pounds since 1-7 when I went in for my pneumonia attack.  Getting a refill of the thyroid meds and prescription of Laxic to help with the water gain.  I put a bug in the lab lady's ear about adding a ANA test to the bloodwork.  I think he is not hearing about the dagger in my hip joint, but he had to take care of Mom as well.  Go back in about 2 months for my refill of the thyroid meds.

Guess I have to get even more serious on losing weight.  I want to add walking to the regime but I get that painful hip joint problem, especially when I am walking uphill.

Pheonix, is there some way I can get a kitten?  I want one so bad!

Its report card time here and the Princess brought home her first A!!!! (well - offset by the E in Language Arts - but an A is an A )  Spring break is closing in quickly (oy vey) and the birthday shopping is finished.  Thank goodness for tax refunds I tell ya!  Renovations are almost done and the library is 95% organized ...... if ya need anything to read just let me know - last count put my collection at over 600

Special thoughts out to those of you who need them (you know who you are)

Status: offline 		dreamygirl!  yeah  - over 600 - and that doesn't count all the textbooks, the kiddie books, the teen books, or the "literature" (Shelley, Shakespeare, Yates)

I had to go buy another bookcase (at close to $300) and I've gotten rid of 6 boxes of paperbacks.  I've made a rule that I keep all hardcovers, regardless.  If it is a paperback and I only have one book by that author (in otherwords I wasn't inspired to read more) out it went.  The local charities are loving seeing my van pull up!

Status: offline 		lol ... I got a Sony Reader (kind of like a Kindle) for Christmas so I'm hoping that the expansion of the library slows down for a while, although series that are already in progress will continue in paper.

As for eBay - I don't have the desire to do that - I would rather have our Diabetes Association benefit fomr my unwanteds

Status: offline 		Yeah, 100 grams of protein a day.  Good thing i like a variety of meats, fish, and dairy.  Three meals a day plus 3 snacks a day.

I know it's still cold over there, but a little secret for nauseous people is to eat cold food. Because when food is cold it releases less aroma (and vice versa), and it is the smell of the food that gives us taste, (Same as pinching your nose when you or kids have to take strong yucky medicine, no smell=little taste) so you might just be able to enjoy that canteloupe and mild cheddar with a dry salty biscuit or two....yummm, now I am hungry.....
