Can't get preggers.  Had a hysterectomy back in '04.

I think its the fibromaylgia throwing me a curve ball.

I definitely need to go to wallyworld.  the capris I got are way too small. and their size 24!  Luckily I had a couple of size 3X shorts to walk around in.

I wish that it was not raining so much today so that we could go to Hobby Lobby and get the supplies.  *sigh*

After grading all my exams, I'm going to treat myself and do my art homework. I'm painting the frame for a mirror. I'm sposed to do it kind of ... orange / brown... I might forget and make it pink. I don't know. "Oh? was it sposed to be a different color? Mah bad."

Good morning everyone. This is Jim.

I want to tell everyone what has happened. Holly fell head first down the basement stairs on Wednesday morning. When I found her she was completely unconscious and remained that way for about ten minutes. The paramedics life flighted her to a trauma center.

At this time she is in a neurology intensive care unit with bleeding of or on the brain. She also fractured her collarbone and nearly totally severed her left ear. Her ear was reattached by a plastic surgeon and as hard as it is to believe she had no hearing loss and her ear looks almost normal. Once the swelling and bruising go away I doubt there will be and signs of what happened. It took 58 stitches to get it back on.
There was a second CT scan yesterday and it showed her brain is no longer bleeding. Holly is awake and totally normal. The neuro surgeon said there is a question about her mental state being unassessable because of all the pain medications she is taking. No surgery is needed for her collar bone but it seems to be painful for her to even move.

It is hard to believe but the trauma doctors are talking about sending her home. I doubt she will be discharged from an intensive care unit. I'll keep you posted.

thoughts of peace to you and the LO as well.

holly's guardian angel is so going to need a holiday after this. a very long one. with no blood involved.

JIm, as you know I have a special place in my heart for your girl, as she has written me several wonderful letters concerning the two of you meeting here, etc. My heart is torn this morning, and my prayers will be with the both of you, and your little one at this time. Good Morning, All:

Holly sent me a tm yesterday about her accident & it was so jarbled in the beginning I knew she had to be on meds & when I read why I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'm glad Jim posted here because Holly had given me the ok to let you all know but the specifics were limited.

Holly & Jim have been thru SO MUCH heartache in the past few months it's amazing that Jim took the time to post this message for Holly's friends.  Thank you, Jim!!

While this is a tragic event I'm so thankful it was just her collarbone that was broken & not her neck. 

Jim, please give Holly extra hugs from me & you have my # if you need anything!
