You have my empathy and my best wishes to you both. I can only imagine how it must have felt to find her unconscious. I am glad things are not as bad as they could have been . . . for a girl who has bad luck with accidents, it seems she was very lucky with the outcome, despite stitches, broken bones and all.

Poor Holy, what an ouchy ordeal. My heart goes to her not only for what has happened but the pain and discomfort on road to recovery ahead. I would normally extend my sympathy to you as well because both of you will be dealing with her recovery, but look at the bright side . . . no meatloaf for a while!

I look forward to your updates

Status: offline 		I heard from Holly and THANKFULLY there is a Dr. on staff who actually has a brain & he is NOT releasing her today! She has been moved from the ICU to a private room. She's happy to have walls again & not be in a "fish bowl" Personally I think they moved her to a room where they can close the door while she's talking!

**Eta, naturally she's pissed about not being able to go home to make meat loaf. I'm thinking that maybe Mr. Jim had a hand in the Dr's decision for his safety as well as the LO's safety**

Also thanks from me Jim for letting us know and glad to read that Holly is reasonably ok, considering what happened...is there any chance to move into a bungalow maybe???

I felt down the stairs in 2004 but thankfully just managed to still grab the banister and so only dislocated one of my toes (as I wasn't wearing shoes), my landlord had less luck as she was found in a similar state like holly 2 weeks or so before me (though she had chosen a different set of stairs to fall down in her house).

Since my fall I still walk stairs much more careful then I used to do, that experience just left a huge impact on me...

as others said I do agree, you and Holly went through a lot and I hope that you finally find the light at the end of the tunnel (or well...I hope it as long as it is not the train)...

Best healing wishes from me as well to that clumsy disaster...glad to hear that it was not her neck...(saying it as I worked a lot with clients with neck injuries )
