That *almost* sounded dirty, Jeff!!

I have been typing recipes for the past several hours. The recipes of other people are Amazing Things. Next up is a cousin's spaghetti sauce recipe. Which she has no directions for, other than adding water toward the end. Lucky thing I know about that cooking the meat first, and draining the grease...

My cousin & I decided that the only way to get our recipes down would be to video them.  Because we never measure or time anything.  I told my son-in-law how I make perfect rice every time & he kept asking me how long I let it simmer.  No matter how many times he asked me it was always the same answer, "I just know when it's done."

in case y'all are dying of curiosity, the afore mentioned hot dog will explode approx 3.5 seconds before mom turns off the microwave. And yes...it makes one hell of a mess.[sm=angry.gif]

i'm good. getting to the part of the year where wanders and i whinge about how cold our tootsies are [:D] mind you, i was doing something the other day in the house, and looked down at my hands, and discovered my fingernail beds were purple without the benefit of fingernail polish. i dug out the fuzziness of socks.

work is settling, i'm keeping a weather eye out for a job way up north (where it's a bit warmer in winter and cooler in summer), it's just me and ancient cat in house nowadays. amazing how it stays so clean without anyone else to mess it up. jealous? [:D]

The 57 got sold and I bought a 1960 Rambler.....has and engine and seats already in it lmao. Runs too....admittedly not well yet, but it is running lol. And I haven't tazed anyone in weeks.
