Hi folks,

today was my second last day on placement ... freedom is coming close [:)][:)][:)]

And as a very lovely surprise indeed one colleague brought me lots of goody-bags from our workforce exhibition [:)]

I "requested" it to her in a humorous way and did not really expect that she would do it but she did [:)] Gosh that was nice [:)]

Another load of new pens (who the fuck needs shoes or hand bags, gimme pens and I am a happy bee [:)])

Not sure if I manage to go to bed tonight as it feels to me that I still have so awful much to do to ensure all my cases are proper closed (with all paper work in their files and all information on the electronic diaries)...but still...glad it is coming to an end...and looking forward to go home next week...time to eat my mothers menu up and all the way down again [:)]

Life...it is coming closer and closer within reach [:)]

Thanks Holly.  You know me - usually if I don't have anything good to say I don't.  I have been lurking tho and watching.

Now - on to more important things....... men.   My boy has introduced me (rather late in the game) to Nickelback - who happen to be local home grown boys.  Not only that - I have their tune "Burn it to the Ground" stuck in my head.  The offical video on youtube is awesome.  Now - here is a research project for you gals. Take a look at the video and consider this.  Regarding Chad Kroeger (the lead singer) - do you think his boy bits are as big and long as his legs?????????? <WEG>

Well, as of this morning about 8:45 am, the world is short one grey squirrel.  It went out in a flash of glory and took out the electricity to 192 apartments.  The poor critter shorted out a transformer.  It reached up to touch one part ot if and stepped on the wrong thing...thus completing the circuit through it's little body and completely defuzzing it's tail. 
 
It took the electric company about 45 minutes to arrive and knock the squirrel down.  Then all it took was a reset of a fuse/breaker to get us all back on-line.
 
There it is - the exciting adventures of an old lady in the Mountain State of West Virginia.

As a kid, that was a frequent occurrence, power and telephone lines were often out due to squirrels. They would bite through the lines and short it out. Not as easily nibbled through today, but it still happens.

I guess the moral of this is to be careful with electricity play?

Evening all!!!!!

I am still in Hickville.  Dayum I hope that this is the last night. 

You KNOW that you are in small town central United States when the security gaurd at the VA who is also a county deputy and is hoping that you come back soon so that you can go to dinner and party with him and his wife.  I am expecting to see Opie riding his bicycle down the street at any moment.  Although I would like to know where Aunt Bee is with some cookies for me.  [8|]

Mom was in Tampa 2 weeks ago. I am so sorry she could not visist...but my brother had to go Baltimore for more training before he went back to Aghanistan.

Mom LOVES the house that BBB (big baby brother) that they are living in. I think that one room will coming the stroke bar now (this SIL has the stripper exercise bar).
