ORIGINAL: sophiesback I don't remember it being like this when I was a teenager. When the doctor said "overload", I heard "You'll feel like a hormonal teenager again". I have now concluded what she really meant was "You'll be worse than THREE hormonal PREGNANT teenagers". lol. I hit perimenopause hard about the time my daughter hit puberty. I remember threatening to put a sign on the door saying "Two crazy women live here, enter at your own risk". And now, can I boast? Got a phone call from the teen's English teacher today. My first emotion was fear, what has this child done now? He got a 97/100 on his English Regent which is absolutely amazing. I was just hoping he could get above 80 on them all. I started menopause a little before my mama. We are soooooooooo much alike that we end up buying the same clothes (shopping separately), and do stuff like finish each other's sentences, so during times when we would be upset with each other the rest of the kids scattered. Now I'm done and she's still in it. She says totally not fair! Ha Ha Mama, there's ONE fight I getta win! I accused her of not being my real mama today though after leaving the hospital with more bad news. I seem to be following my first husband's mother (we are very close) in health problems - Her children aren't, and my mama is healthy. Mama reassured me that grandma on my dad's side had alot of the same issues I do. *whew* Of course you can boast............especially when it comes to our kids doing something Grand! Yay for good scores!
