It's ok. I just wasn't sure my tummy could handle it!

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/2/2010 2:39:32 PM)

I may actually complete my quest this week, finishing filling up a 2.0 TB hard drive.  I filled up a 1.5TB hard drive with just over 2000 movies.  I got 3000 movies and 500 gigs of music on the big drive...

What is going to be fun is trying to fill up the other two BIG drives.

Wowser, Jeff! I am just not into movies these days. No attention span? I dunno. I can watch the ocean shows and the geology shows over and over! (LOVING River Monsters!! Like Bassmasters with a HOTTIE!)

I have been trying to find a copy of HOPE FLOATS because a friend of mine told me that Gena Rowlands is hilarious as the MIL who does taxidermy. Do you think that the library has it? Or that freakin OXYGEN will play it? Hmph.

I don't blame you...none of my cats ever did that...but then none of my cats was ever pregnant either....I really hope that habbit stops when she has her litter...and whilst in general I would not mind to leave her indoors (after all she is indors to 95% anyway)...it is just too hot to leave my doors shut all the time...even more with living in an only 1 bedroom flat at the moment...

yesterday I dared to dream again from moving into a bigger place, now with graduating and with my profession far from being short of jobs...but considering the costs for moving and the deposit to pay and being unsure if I get my deposit back here etc...I think it is best to stay here until I make my jump over to the next country...maybe I change that mind next year but for now I stay where I am [&o]

Maybe she is preparing for the delicate taste of afterbirth?

Seriously, her afterbirth can't taste worse than a slug/snail..her breath is really awful when she runs at me with her mouth covered with their slime...if she wouldn't be pregnant I would have already gone to the vet to get her stuff to ensure she doesn't catch worms from those critters...but right now there isn't much I can do in that respect...

right now she moved into my cleaning cupboard agan...which I am going to change into her delivery room once I cleared up enough chaos in front of it to get actually access to it...she really enjoys to hide in there, so I wanna make sure she has it comfortable in there (why the heck did I buy the cage and the chicken hutch for her and her youngsters [8|]

But overall it is a weird feeling right now knowing that she can be due now at any time....[&:]

Umm, I do have remote access software on the home server, my winxp box, the win7 laptop, my win7 multimedia server (computer tied into the entertainment center) so it should be easy for ya.  All you need is a steady internet connection, vpn protocols and I can send you the ip addy in a cmail to let you do it... if you have the proper software that is.

I know...but first of all they need to be delivered [;)]

no moving going to happen here...I thought about to move to a different part of the country but changed my mind about that...and this year I can't afford to move now anyway...apart from that if I would move into a bigger property I would feel better to take on dogs as well and quite frankly it is best to avoid doing so as that would be additional costs and additional paws to ship over to NZ when I move to there...so I stay in my lil creepy spider loving flat [:)]

Dayum.  We planned for night fishing tonight.  Had the bank lines set and everything.  Just went down to check them.  No fish on the lines.  There had been no bites earlier either.  While shining the light down into the water, what do we see?  A Gar.  Well, that is the end of the fishing for tonight.  *sigh*  [>:]

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/2/2010 9:48:02 PM)

A gar is a predatory fish that has the mouth of an alligator, full of teeth, and will bite at anything in the water... they have been known to bite the people's feet when they are dangling in the water.

quote:

The Alligator Gar ("Gator Gar"), Atractosteus spatula, is a primitive ray-finned fish. Unlike other Gars, the mature Alligator Gar possesses a dual row of large teeth in the upper jaw. Its name derives from the alligator-like appearance of these teeth along with the fish's elongated snout. The dorsal surface of the Alligator Gar is a brown or olive-color, while the ventral surface tends to be lighter. Their scales are diamond-shaped and interlocking (ganoid) and are sometimes used by Native Americans for jewelry. Along with its status as the largest species of Gar, the Alligator Gar is the largest exclusively freshwater fish found in North America, measuring eight to ten feet and weighing at least 200 lb (91 kg) at maturity. The current world record for the largest Alligator Gar caught on rod and reel is 279 lb (127 kg).[2] The largest taken by Bowfishing is 365 lb (166 kg).[citation needed] The fish is also known for its ability to survive outside the water, being able to last for up to two hours above the surface.
