Have you tried melatonin? It works for me, and I like it because it's hard to get addicted to.....adjusted to, yes, but not addicted. I take the 3mg dose, usually two or three. So far, the only side effect is really, really, REALLY wierd dreams. I'm finally going to break down and try a sleep study.....I doubt I'll be able to sleep with all those wires attached, but I'm reaching the point of desperation.
Trust me, I'm feeling your pain......I've lived with this all my life, and it's still just as frustrating. I've tried all the suggestions made from the sensible to the absurd! Not much has worked, tho. {sigh}
