OMG KITTEHS!!!!!

My glass is all put away, I am a fiend for carnival... I have a lot of Marigold colour... but I love iridescent things, like the dark violet stuff. Which yeah, I know they still MAKE but this is from my days of selling vintage stuffs. Sigh.

yourdarkdesire -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 10:53:30 AM)

simply beautiful kittens!!!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 10:55:43 AM)

I wish I could have a cat. Mom is VIOLENTLY allergic. Of course, I lack the strength to lose another companion animal anyway, so it's double moot. Thank heavens for the long lifespans of parrots!

But BIRMANS!!! Wheeeeeef!!

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 10:55:44 AM)

ahhhhh...I luves new kitties...

PeanutTigerinBox -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 11:26:59 AM)

Thank you [:)]

I can tell all of you I really hate now to get ready for work...but at least i know they are in good hands with the guy upstairs. and next 2 days I am off so I will be here :o)

The first one took 3 hours to deliver and after 2.5 hours I got a bit worried, as the books say after one hour hard labour to contact the vet...so after realising that after 2.5 hours I called the vet but they said to get back to them at 5 (2.5 hours later) and not to worry....then half an hour later the first one was born and 20 minutes later the other one. in 2-3 weeks time I will know if they are seal point or red point or both...I sooooooooooooooo hope for a red point girl *sigh*.

Either way it is nice to see the cat enjoying her role as mom after a hard-ish time of delivery, and I am glad about the birth date 07/07 [:)] exactly 10 years today that golf ball big rain-snow drops (whatever you call them in english) came down back home (not that this would be related but thats what came straight away into my mums mind [:D]).

LadyHibiscus -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 11:30:12 AM)

Hail!! (the snow/ice balls!)

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 1:39:55 PM)

Why would anyone want a pet that if you call it by name it just looks at you like you are an idiot?

As for the glass collecting, I wonder if anyone collects Trinity glass?

DarkSteven -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 1:44:53 PM)

Holly, jasper responds when you call his name, he walks over to you and starts grumbling at you with a series of growls, snorts and the occasional bark.

sirsholly -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 3:08:51 PM)

Jeff...your dog grumbles at you?

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 4:36:11 PM)

yeah, he grumbles, complains, talks back etc.  Personally, if I didnt know better I would think he is a she, but all this did start after we had him fixed.

Aylee -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 4:59:31 PM)

Beautiful kitties!

They are so sweet looking!  I just want to hug them.

And NO, Butterhead does not need a kitty!

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 5:03:56 PM)

want one, but out of my respect for my mother, I will decline wanting one.

Second...I live in TX and I doubt the wee ones could survive the trip.

ETA:  Mom thinks that the kitties are cute as well.  Maybe I can sweettalk her into a rescue kitty.

DesFIP -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 8:34:27 PM)

Adorable kittens. Do you have good homes ready for them?

i cannot wait for tomorrow afternoon. Yesterday I brought my daughter's laptop into the shop. They called and said it will be done tomorrow. Detrojaned, devirused and various other issues. In the meantime she's stolen my computer so I'm now using The Man's laptop. Half the keys aren't readable and some of them only work sometimes. You can hit the w several times without it reading it. I hate this thing with a passion.

No hate.  Just a problem with a fix.

Nuke it from orbit?

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/7/2010 11:39:01 PM)

Well, it's 2:30 am here and i am in Philadelphia waiting to get my last bus of the trip...8am.  Nothing is open.  Greyhound has WiFi for $5.95 for one day.  (A 12 month subscription is a bargain compared to that.)

There is a charging counter to plug into to recharge the computer (net book) and the cell phone.

Soooo, i guess i'll spend some time posting to the games.

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/8/2010 3:29:15 AM)

Phoenix, what adorable widdle bitty beebees!  What was the final tally?  Mom looks pretty, at least the top of her head......

I'm worried, two of the 3 little kittens I've been trying to catch have disappeared.  One would come right up to me and let me handle him, the other I could pet if he was distracted by food.  Just when I located a no-kill shelter that might have taken them in.  Now it's just mom and one little lonely guy...and he is still skittish about me getting too close.  I hope nothing has happened to them....there doesn't appear to be an abundance of stray dogs around, so I don't know what else may have gotten them....raccoons, maybe?  I've seen several of them in the yards here.  They stuck pretty close to the yard here, and I haven't seen any flattened little bodies in the street.  If I didn't already have 4 of my own, I'd be the mom to another 4......

Hmmm...one of them already fell off my hand...and rumours say that you are even worse then me [;)]

I was glad that s/he ended up on my very soft duvet and it wasn't very high, but it was a scare...

mommy cat just destroyed my lil joy to watch them in a box next to me on the sofa (just came back from the night shift) as she nicked on by it's head and dragged it into her cupboard...so after a while I thought...fine...don't mess with mommys [8|]

And brought her the second one into her cupboard, too [&o]
