So far it's a nice day here in Austin. 86 F, 62% humidity, and a light breeze. About naptime this afternoon it will be 103 F with 27% humidity. i think it was more uncomfortable when i was in NJ with temperatures in the 90's F and humidity above 90%. Today i am doing my laundry and packing to go back to WV. i leave this evening (Monday) on Greyhound and get there Wednesday morning. Knitting, Sudoku, or reading during the day and dozing at night. As usual a couple of my layovers are in the middle of the night, so i knit then, too. It's hard for me to sleep in a bus terminal in the middle of the night. i have 3 layovers in TN of more than an hour each. PM me if you want to try to meet up at one of those terminals.

Ain't that the truth. My brother thought that he can take I10 straight thru to FL. Told him to take I12 from Baton Rouge until they run into I10 again, On the other side of New Orleans. Anyone local knows that taking I10 completely ends up in New Orleans proper. He had to listen to 4 women...Mom, my SIL, my aunt, and me...LOL! Besides, he can have some gas saved...

Shahar, it never fails to amaze me, how often I get calls at work from agency staff asking how to get to the work place...[8\|] it just leaves me gobsmacked how they manage life when they don't even manage such a basic task, considering you find whole UK online at www.streetmap.co.uk. Shouldn't be rocket science, to figure out such things themselves [8\|]

Hey folks...finally made my soup and ate it...or well...ate the first of 3 portions of it....tasted interesting...but suppose will need a few more litre of it to be able to call it my favourite [8\|] However, the next 2 days i am doomed on it...as I have to finish it off [&:] Just realised to be off all week next week apart from my two night shifts....gosh I hate it when I am now trapped in the decision making process if I should just enjoy the time off and being at home or if I should request work instead sigh

Shar, you can take I-10 ALMOST thru the state of Florida......it dead ends at I-95 in Jacksonville....then ya gotta find a way to the coast.....but at least he listened to you girls.....um, he did listen, din't he? Google is my friend when it comes to getting around new areas.....I like it better than Mapquest because of the street view feature. It's pretty accurate, considering the way things can change due to construction. Before I drove out here from Phoenix, I wrote down each step of the trip, in big enough lettering to read while driving, since cats don't make very good navigators! The only tricky parts of the trip were trying to navigate traffic with a cat sitting on my lap looking out the window at passing drivers...who'd then slow down to check and make sure they actually saw what they thought they saw......Boo loved to ride on the dashboard too.

I am SO READY to head back to the beach. Like, RIGHT NOW. But this has been a week of IMPULSES that I have held back on. I was driving to lunch in the next town, and passed a used car lot that had a later model Jaguar, the one that I want, the old style graceful one! I did not stop and look. I am not a Jaguar mechanic. (though I could learn!) and hey! Even an old Jag has to have violently expensive insurance right? Today was a beautiful day, not too hot or humid!! The sun is out, the sky is blue... yay!
