busy day today. I need a job to get a break from work. Got new carpet coming in this week finally. I love iris's. They have ones that bloom twice.

Why didn't you people tell me that you wanted flower bulbs????? Had I known. . . I wouldn't have had to plant the stupid things. I could have mailed them off. Please folks, be proactive.

I used to feed the squirrels at my place in IL......it was really the only way to keep them out of the feeders I'd put on the balcony. I had two, one I named Stumpy cuz he had 1/2 a tail, and the other one Spot, cuz he had a big white spot behind one ear. They'd sit outside the patio door and tease the dog and cat....I swear sometimes you could hear a faint "neener, neener, neener"! Spot would stretch out on the rail, and sit there and pick the sunflower seeds out of the mix.....just reach out and grab one at his convenience. I wish I'd gotten pics......

peanut it wouldnt be bad if I didnt have to use both hands at once. I have clay soil. Once you plant irisis there is no way to dig them up. My bulbs are showing on top of the ground and they still bloom like crazy. Shahar do you crochet clothes for your kid to wear to school.

Don't talk about digging in clay soil. I need to totally redo the garden which doesn't mean me, it means the teen and some of his fellow football players. We use them for all the heavier work, wood cutting, splitting, etc. They work for gas money. And food!

It's a warm day today, sunny, light breeze. i posted 3 boxes of office supply stuff to freecycle this morning. Within 5 minutes i had 4 replies, of which one is scheduled to pick up today. If they don't show, i have 11 more people who want it.
