Ya ever have one of those weeks? Lost my crown twice, but at least the glue holds for a while....then......

I swear to God, my scooter is suffering from PMS...two nights ago, after work, she wouldn't start...the resulting temper tantrum had me fishing my helmet out from under the Governor's SUV praying to God that it wasn't hooked up to some sort of hi-tech motion sensor alarm that would bring the DPS troops running......so, I hitched a ride home with a friend at 11pm.....got up on Monday, took the bus back downtown to work, had one of the Sgts try to kick start it...he said I was a lightweight, I told him he was nuts....anyway, he couldn't kick start it, so I had an officer come in and try to jump start it.....the cables accidentally touched and there was a big POP and spark...which meant that the battery had charge....anyway, we hook it up, let it charge, still nothing but a "click" when I tried to start her. Fine...I went to my OT, got permission from the Sgt on duty to have one of the assistants get me and sunshine home in the truck....we load the damn thing up, of course, it tips over halfway home, we unload the damn thing, and I go in and collapse.

This morning, I went out to try to find the starter in the engine, hoping maybe it was just a loose wire....figured I could locate it from the "click" noise....so I take the seat off, put the key in the ignition, push the starter button, and VROOOOOOOM! She starts!!!!! Good thing I didn't have my helmet, I'd probably be trying to fish it out of the canal right now! WHY MEEEEE?????? WHY OH WHY?????

OK, rant over, we can all rest easy now.......stoopid machines!!!!!!

you are correct s2s, scooters do have pms.Mine does as well same thing.

I braved a trip to wally world for bread, and she did it again when I went to leave....hauled her up on the kickstand to try to kick start her, even knowing that I can't, and turned the key, tried the starter just for kicks.....yep, you guessed it....VRRRROOOOOM!

Of course, it doesn't help that I'M PMS'ing too!......hence the temper tantrum in the garage.....caught on tape......DUH!
