I know i am just a male perspective , but i thought i would like to share .I have found Women like variety , and for the most part cleanliness .Being the male i try to dress sharp most of the time even when in jean and a t shirt .Leather , silken shirts , nice foot wear , and visual appeal  as well as textural . After all if your wearing a shirt that Women love to touch and feel does it not benefit both parties .I so love it when a Woman  gives kudos and just has to feel what your wearing .  Not drowning yourself in a spray on scent  is also a good idea , as some do not get that a little goes a long way .Ultra formal is great but also make sure it is well fitting , pressed , clean , and flattering .I also like vintage and when i say vintage i tend to skip the disco era .I feel its not all dressing for myself but the pleasure of others too complimenting a companion makes it fun .
Guys Women dig  nice undies too  so get some  and do not hang on to those raggy moth eaten stained  garments retire those things and step up to some new underoos .In the end we are try'n to please  ourselves  and our Dominants , though tastes vary wearing  different outer skins can be and should be fun .Yes us men welcome  insight and help to look and feel better .

To add to what you've said.  If collared, simply let your Mistress pick out or approve the clothing you purchase.  Makes life easier and for a much happier Mistress in my experience.
