Or should I say inexpensive?
I paint portraits of people in negative space. I use a two-tone style, sometimes throwing in a third shade.
The paintings are usually done on a 16x22 canvas and take me about a week if I'm busy, a couple of days if I'm not.
I paint from photos, and just to warn you, some photos don't look well when painted, so I need to be sent MULTIPLE pics so I can pick the best one since I'm the artist. lol.
I'm super cheap....uh....inexpensive. I charge 100 beans per painting, although should i get swamped again like last year, it goes up to 200 american dollars. (Man, I wish it were euros.)
I'm also down for trades as well. Don't be shy to blurt out what you have in mind as I may go for it.
I can show examples of my work upon demand, and would absolutley love to quit my job, so don't be afraid to order a whole bunch of paintings from me.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Always nice to meet artistic P/pl...but to me, $100 is not 'cheap'.  *sighs*

lol, I hear ya. I'm not even a hundredaire now...haha.
But after canvas and paint, I'm only makin' about 5 or 6 beans an hour. Can't work for any less than that!
I get what you're sayin though. I think many people are tight on cash these days. It would explain why I always hear, "If I had the money, I would have you paint me!"
I think I may have to start pimpin myself out if this trend keeps up.
One thing is for sure, I'm defintely going to vote this year....lol.

Hiya DragonDaddy, Lady Cat from Tampa here. Y'all coming over for Fetishcon this August? I'll be there doing bodypaintings & having them photographed by Neal Rue & would love to paint your little girl! Wanna trade for at least part of the cost of a portrait?

Ooooh. That sounds great! The only problem is that I don't think we are gonna make it to tampa this year. Money is really tight for me. I'm paying my way through school and I'm in sales, which is bad right now. This is why I am employing all talents to try and make money. I'm teaching private martial arts lessons, Private guitar lessons, and I'm really trying to sell my portraits again. Hopefully, all these things combines will pay for school, rent, and ice cream for my little one.
I may change my mind about tampa, so if I do, the answer is yes and I will contact you. The only problem is the portaits can take me up to 10 hours or so, so I may need to take the photos and go home and work on it for a couple of days and ship it back up to you, which I have done before and it has worked out fine, just setting the right expectations is all.
Thanks for your interest and if you are ever down my way, bring the paints and I'll pick up some drinks. I would love to see my little one painted. She has a great body for it!
Stay in touch.

I usually have my paints with me as often as my toy bags! Your little girl would look killer in paint, and so would you, I'm guessing. I certainly understand today's economy; (it sucks!) and won't be surprised if y'all don't make it over for the Con. And as a fellow painter ( I like oils), I would not expect an instant Xerox to magically appear in one weekend! Let's see, Delray is not THAT far a drive, is it? Sometimes my gigs take me all over the state; maybe I can get there one of these days. $150 is VERY reasonable for a portrait & would make an awesome prezzie for my "boy". Now, I'll have to see about getting some reasonably good photos of myself, since I'm usually the one behind the lens instead of in front!

Aww thank you, but it's only $100, not $150. My suggestion is get a bunch of photos you like and contact me, then send em and I will take a look and let you know which ones would translate well to canvas.
Trust me, it's hard to find the right one, so get a ton together and don't get your heart set on any one of them, cuz the chances are, it won't be the one painted. Oils are so pretty, but take too long to dry so I can't use them for my work unless I wanna jack up prices.
Piant me huh? Maybe you could paint some abs onto me, because with the amount of time I spend in the gym, I'm starting to think that I was born without abdominal muscles. Lol. I think the only reason I am able to sit up is with magic. I cast the "sit upright," spell and that must be how I do it.
Take care and thanks for the interest.
