As I have pontificated before, the place to go for good submissive (bottom) role models is to quality m/m bdsm erotica and porn. I think the guys over at Extreme Boyz have it down to a science. I remember perving that site several years ago when I had first discovered good online m/m bdsm smut (I was a long time reader of the magazine Bound and Gagged when it was around – used to pick up a new copy regularly in Long Beach at The Crypt, for you locals!).

There are some times when I see good m/m bdsm on film and I get a tingly kind of “Hey, how did they get into MY HEAD” feeling, when I see a little flash of surrender portrayed just in the way to make me hot. If I were to send submissives to a “School of Surrender” to learn HOW to submit in a way that’s hot, erotic, sensual, with just the RIGHT touch of vulnerability and helplessness, I’d send them to the “School of Tal.”

Tal is a regular model/victim at EB, and he’s got that certain-something that male bottoms should strive to capture. Really, boys, when you are actively submitting to a woman in order to turn her on, remember, there are some things you MUST do. You must learn to use your eyes, you must learn the proper body language, you must learn how to breathe, even, in a way to get her hot. Who knew submitting was all that work?

What works in good m/m BDSM is that there’s a chemistry that rarely exists (in my opinion) in F/m videos. The director is trying to capture equally the passion of the surrender and vulnerability of the submissive – and not just focus on the mightiness, scariness, cruelness of the dominant. Really, who cares about the dominant anyway?

The folks over at EB have it right. Their models are sexy, flirty, responsive and hot. The videos are just the right length and new boys are frequently introduced. Tal is generally a given; his stuff is always good. The rest of the boys vary in their abilities but all dish out the right mix of vulnerability and squirmy goodness!!

I'm glad that such a resource exists; not so much that it is in teh gay guy/guy context. But you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

Are you a fan at all of the MIP series? It's heavy on heavy but light on getting into the mind of the participants.

I have not looked at Men In Pain recently, but when I looked at it awhile back, I still found that the submissives were not very interesting or attractive. The focus is still on the dominant woman and the things she does to him; in BDSM erotica done for m/m audiences, the focus is often on the sub and his reactions -- HOT! That's what I am looking for....

Hmmm. I'll check it out but I'm conflicted. I'm afraid I might enjoy it too much. And that's a WHOLE additional level of complexity with which I'm not prepared to deal.

Conversely, some of the stuff from Hardtied is very good IMHO in showing the struggle behind the eyes of the sub-female. The dominant is never the subject of the action.

So this is suddenly a dilemma; do I enjoy M/f material and empathize/identify with the f ? Or do I view the M/m material and empathize/identify about the M on m action?

Which one of these is going to disturbe me the least when they creep into my dreams?

What's good for Master role models? One sub I know was very into the 'SexAndSubmission' site but it's also focused pretty much on the her and not the him; I'm not looking to wank off, I'm looking to improve my game. Although the movies are very well done, it's more scripted than I'd like... Plus it doesn't fit well with my particular style of mind fvckery. It doesn't really capture the mental aspect of dominating a girl to the point where she feels helpless, or fishing out her need to be controlled and satisfying it; it's more about the toys than anything, and it's pretty obvious these girls are paid. Know any good viewing material that gives me real substance without choking on the hokey? ( I know about literotica, and the S/M section at Borders. I took a look at Extreme Boyz since I like watching m/m porn (in particular kinky/bdsm oriented), but I guess I was turned off by the focus on twinks, rather than masculine men. So far the place that I like is really Pig Daddy Productions (http://www.pigdaddypro.com/) - mainly because they both beat and fuck the guys and the guys look fairly masculine.

Meh, I'm not looking for asshole. I'm thinking more along the lines of 'The Secretary,' but like this:
1. We're in his head, not hers.
2. We see the clues she's throwing out there, but we don't know for sure that she's got submissive fantasies.
3. We play detective, figure out how she ticks, and swoop in for the kill.

I think there's a market for stuff like that, if it hasn't already been made. The closest I can come to thinking of an author with that style is Robert Heinlein, but his girls get 2 dimensional after a while.
