Oh nothing weird meant by it. Ive handled hot snakes since I was a teenager. Even volunteered at a zoo... Once upon a time I even had a Black Mamba, Rhinkhals Cobra, and Inland Taipan as pets... So Im not scared of copperheads and rattlers. :)

DA, you're only allowed to plan that if those of us who are poor (only Slightly) northern neighbors can come to... cause damnit, Oklahoma and Texas should pretty much be a seperate country anyway!

I lived in Westbury, just south of Bellaire, and worked on Bellaire Blvd. in West University Place. Used to go home and nap for lunch.

hotter than hot...and Houston has the added fun of HUMIDITY on top of the hot. swamp hot. constantly soaking wet hot (and not in a good way!). miserable hot.

why Houston? sooo many great places in TX..

Austin (if you can deal with the traffic), Hill Country is beautiful, San Marcos, Corpus, Fort Worth is suburb, close enough to Dallas without being that nasty.

Houston has great areas - and many things I miss about living there. But it is one big ass city...

Aviator - guess Sugarland has changed since I lived there!!

I just moved to New Braunfels, and so far I'm loving it.   I moved from Austin, and no I could not deal with the traffic...lol   (and I work for txdot).....lol
used to make a pilgrimage from Houston to the New Braunfels Smokehouse with a couple ice chests and stock up on sausage, especially the, IIRC, little Bismarcks. Ex bro-in-law and his bro (asst. DA Houston) have a ranch in LaGrange I'd stay at when I'd visit my folks, who lived in Round Rock. Stepfather is like 4th generation Houstonian.
