i just heard Pat Benatar's rendition of "Pay the Cost to be the Boss" and thought, what a great theme song for a Domme.

i wish life came with theme songs and creepy music and other aural cues (noooo, don't go down that aisle, LOL.)

i have always loved "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" as a subbie theme song.

Any other ideas?

If I had to pick one for myself, it would probably be either the instrumental sections of Alice Cooper's "Halo of Flies", or "Yellow Submarine", by the Beatles, depending on my mood. Haven't given it much thought, though.

"This is My December"
i've only heard the version by Linkin Park but i think it was a remake taken from another artist.

Mine would probably "Policy of Truth" by Depeche Mode, "Velvet Goldmine" by Bowie, or "Change" by Blind Melon. I'm indecisive. lol.

for a submissive song, "phantom of the opera" from the broadway show of the same name. "the music of the night" also would work--"only then can you belong to me..." these two have the words to back it up if one thinks of them in the context of submission.

i wanted to say k.d.lang's version of "alli need is the air that i breathe," but the lyrics aren't truly completely submissive. but a lovely song nonetheless.

Someone who knew me very well once suggest "The Animal Song" by SavageGarden fit me very well... and it does.
Heart of Steel and Number One both by Manowar are songs that I relate too (and both have dominant themes)
Don't Damn Me by G'N'R often fit when I was younger and angrier with the world
Hurt, as performed by Johnny Cash when I am looking back and feeling meloncholly

But the song that seems to best fit me as my theme song....
Tom Sawyer by Rush

No his mind is not for rent
To any god or government
Always hopeful, yet discontent
He knows changes aren't permanent
But change is

My theme song... a good friend once told me it was Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes.

She'll expose you
when she snows you
Off your feet with the crumbs she throws you
She's ferocious
and she knows just what it takes
to make a pro blush
All the boys think she's a spy
She's got Bette Davis eyes

As for a song that expresses the dynamics the way I personally see them and like to experience them, it would be Behind the Wheel by Depeche Mode.

Oh little girl
There are times when I feel
I rather not be
The one behind the wheel

Come
Pull my strings
Watch me move
I do anything

Please

There are so many more but those are what pop into my mind first.

I've had a few exes that used to hum "Man Eater" if thats the actual title of the song by Hal and Oates. And since I've always liked that song, I'm picking it as my theme song.

Rosa

PS, they said when ever they would hear the song, they thought of me. Isn't that so sweet.

And so sweetly!

As to themes songs....

How about "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" for tribute Dommes

or

"My heart belongs to my Daddy" for baby girls

Being a music fiend, the following sprang to mind...

For the Master/servant dynamic: Master & Servant by Depeche Mode

For slaves, self evident: I Would Be Your Slave by David Bowie
Or: Happiness In Slavery by Nine Inch Nails

For those into puppy play: I Wanna Be Your Dog by Sonic Youth & Iggy Pop

Sadomasochism: Venus in Furs by the Velvet Underground

Masochist girl: Fais-moi mal Johnny by Magali Noël (written by Boris Vian)

FemmeDomme/femmesub: Girl don’t cum by Garbage

For switches? Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused…: Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics though the Marilyn Manson version hits home a little more

The perfect boy: I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen (I posted the lyrics once…)
