OTC pain meds won't help with "clotting", and some make bruising worse. OTC pain meds are for inflammation -- you don't have inflammation, you have internal bleeding on a tiny scale. Particularly avoid aspirin. Another vote for arnica, you can get both homeopathic tablets in tiny tubes, and cream or gel. Go for both. You won't want to put anything on your skin that contains salicylic acid (an aspirin relative), so avoid beta-hydroxy treatments and check the labels on any acne cream or special skin treatment you might be using. Salicylates are in many cosmetics. Vitamin E will also intensify bruising, taken internally or externally. I always found it *more* odd for employees to try to cover their bruises with makeup. You can tell they're wearing a ton of makeup, and start to wonder why they're hiding whatever they are hiding. Better to just have a silly story, to let them know you've got nothing to hide. I had a slightly torn retina from a face-slapping once, and told the doc and my co-workers that, since I'd hurt my back the day before (true), my roommate was helping me get my shoes on and we got tangled, and I got an elbow in the eye. Dumb but they bought it, even the one employee who knew I was into BDSM because we'd bumped into each other online!
