Get thee to a dermatologist!!!!

Even without the skin problem, everyone 40 and over should have a yearly visit to a dermatologist. Last year, Libby went because of a rash. No big problem, but he found a tiny patch of rough skin that neither of us had even noticed.

Malignant melanoma!

We caught it in time. If she hadn't gone, I probably would be alone now.

Get thee to a dermatologist!!!!

I can only use tide free for my brother's laundry, because of skin sensitivity. Every other product I've tried results in a similar skin condition that has been described.

No changes. My skin other than my face is the only victim. Changes are being premenstrual. Although I agree with a previous post and think if I went on a low carb diet it would help. Whenever I remove simple carbs from my diet my skin gets better.

So what happened at the dermatologist? I've been holding my breath, waiting to read! (I really do need to come up for air. *L*)

The stuff I used...it didn't seem to really do anything. I had wanted to apply it every day, but that just didn't work out. By the time I get home from work I have about 2 hours before bedtime. *sigh* I need a different job! But that's a different thread. I had used this tea tree oil blemish stick by Desert Essence and I thought maybe it was helping, but then it seemed to irritate. It's now the weekend following my clay application and my skin isn't quite as oily and it's calmed down somewhat. But it's still worse than what it had normally been before this past month. There is a skin center here on Maui that I'm thinking of going to. It would have to be on one of my half days at work though. Hmmm...maybe I should book a dermatologist instead. Ack! Decisions, decisions. Maybe I'll do both!

Since it's Sunday, I'll have to make my appointments tomorrow.

Anyhow, I'm anxious to hear if you were given any useful advice/information/tricks-of-the-trade...let us know!

I had roseacea badly after delivery in my 20's. So badly that it oozed watery substance and sooo itchy. I thought for sure I would be scarred for life.

Did you perhaps change soaps or shampoo?
Is it a food allergy? If not, it does sound like mild roseacea.
