I'd be happy to volunteer helping you to find out how long it lasts, but I'm waiting for the matching leather mouse based on an internal Wartenberg Wheel.

I had one of those flexible waterproof keyboards. Eventually all of the letters wore off [:D]. It was awesome, totally quiet and no clicky-clicky sound. I'd love a leather one.
