My main picture on profile is from March '07.  i look the same, but my hair is much longer.  It now reaches the bottom of my shoulder blades.
 
Do Y/you find long hair on a fem submissive a 'turn on'?
 
Does it matter whether the sumissive is 'mature'?
 
i had long hair all through college and up tll my UM was born.  iv'e never liked it shorter.  i want those long flowng locks back again.
 
Just out of curiosity, does this turn You on - or not matter -- or what?

I fully support a submissive having her hair any way she wants...with permission of whomever is required. For me, the women I like are often more butch.

While I'm tempted to say the longer, the better (long hair qualifies as sexy and feminine to me); that's not necessarily so convenient when it comes to the time and trouble required to maintain it - and I loathe messy, unkempt hair, long or not....
 
As with most things, we find a balance.  I tend to refer to an ideal compromised length as being about "bra strap" level or mid back.  But this is one of those things where it helps if the girl individually likes and appreciates long hair in her own right, as she'll obviously be living with it 24/7 whether I'm there or not...  Btw, I recently spotted a redhead whose hair was down to her butt - *yum*!
 
I'm a mature adult; it matters to me that my girl is a mature adult, too!  Is that seriously what you meant by the question?

it takes me 10 minutes to wash and i usually just air dry. it requires no visists to the salon and no goop. it takes me 5 minutes to put up, less to leave loose.
my favorite thing done with it is when Master has me astride His lap naked with my back to Him and ties my wrists behind my back with my hair. bliss.

My hair is long, past my hips. It's taken me a few years to get it this way. I prefer long hair on myself though I believe a person has the right to choose to how to wear their own hair. My hair is something of my outstanding trait, as it's bright red and long. I try to keep it neat though with my recent move, the humidity here has it frizzing a bit so I'm working on getting it under control. (Not as easy as it sounds, considering the quantity of hair I have!) [:)]

I love long hair on a woman, whether she is a submissive or Domme.  "Long" being anywhere from just past the shoulders to ass length.

I don't see it as a submissive thing as much as a feminine thing on a woman.  Some men can make long hair work as well, but not all.

(I am assuming that we speak of hair on the head and not facial, pubic or body hair)...... Whilst I do prefer the hair to be long and the longer the better with the added bonus of long hair gives me an excelent control point anf just another area and style of bondage, in the long run short hair can also be a turn on especially if the style suites the person. A few ladies I know actually look better with short hair.. On several occasions, I have been with girls who had a number 4 comb put through their hair in a military style hair cut which was a huge turn on too. Essentially I want my women to be aboe to look a million dollars when we are out in public and complete sluts/whorse at homne when I am in a playfull mood.

On the matter of age/maturity of girls, There are times when I'd like to have several girls in the 18 to 21 age group with athletic bodies niely sculptured and hot.. Although they may make excelent trophies, I am drawn more to the 30 to 45 age group as I value maturity. In reality I have no fixed preferences on age, colour or body type, if what is inside is pleasing to me. This had not changed for decades even when I was in the globe trotting social scene with a disgusting amount of disposable income. I have always valued maturity of mind and the inner being over the visually perfect variety..... (Ever noticed that top photographic and catwalk models ade terrible fucks? They are to self involved to relax and get down and dirty.)

You are so right my friend. This is why I deal with it myself by first using elecrfic clippers to trim it and then shave it bare using a straight (cuthroat razor)..

Papabear, I like what you said, and agree. on both ends.  But in general, agree with the consensous,that hairstyle should suit the wearer. to me someone looks much more sexy in a style that they are comfy with.

I agree there, though I'm sort of biased for long hair myself. I have waist length hair, and I plan to grow it to whatever length it will grow. If it means knee-length so be it. It will be able to serve as a bondage tool when long enough :P Hair is more resistant than steel to tearing for the same thickness (it's just extremely weak to fire, and to cutting, both of which should be out of my reach).

I always loved long hair.
