I used to find it difficult to chat - cocktail parties were hell. Now I never seem to have enough time for all the interesting conversations with new people.

The point is it takes time but one can change. And maybe here's a good place to "practise" - plenty of hugs going (have one of mine).

Thanks it is something that I am slowly working to overcome but it is def. a slow process and the net has always given me an outlet b/c it was safe.

I flirted with Lou Farrigno (the original Incredible Hulk) at the Staples comic convention in Arlington Texas.  I also won the Santa Barbara County Spelling Bee in 1992.  Oh, and I used to play "surgeon" with garden snails when I was little, complete with opening them up and doing transplants.

i am also really shy around people i don't know. Can you imagine all of us getting together, no one would talk for a long time, LOL.
Also, i was "little miss Big Foot", when i was young, one year in the Redwoods of Northern Ca. Had to dress up as a cave girl and ride in the back of an old convertable.
i was a cheerleader in high school, got kicked off for beating the shit out of a girl and cutting of her hair. (well she did deserve it, tried to take my b/f and pulled down my skirt once in the middle of the school mall!)
i was also a junior rodeo champion in barrel racing.  While training one time, i cut a corner short once and my horse stopped short of the hog pen and through me in, thank goodness the hogs were in the house thing or i would have been toast!
