[color red] testing [/color red] and if I did this wrong, could someone please tell me the right way to do it? I'd like to add color to my sig... eta: damn..didnt work.. I SWEAR I used to know how!

Greedy, you need an equal sign between the word COLOR and the name of the color. Don't worry, it works - I forced it to show you the codes: [color=red]This is red.[/color]

Make sure you put in the end tag to stop the color, or else sometimes it does funky things to the post following yours. Also, if you want dark red, I think the color name allowed is maroon. Edited to say... the word darkred (all run together) is allowed also. Scroll down on this page (click here), and you will see a table showing the names of colors. Most if not all of them should be allowed (pay particular attention to the spelling and lack of spacing in the color names). Cali (and yes luv, I know ya adore me!)

Greedy, if you use a color from the list, you can use the alphanumeric code shown instead of the name of the color. Otherwise the result can be unpredictable. Cali

HM is colour blind and He uses that code when writing HTML. It at least allows Him to come close to what He is envisioning. (or He thinks it does...but, of course, He'd never know the difference...lolol)
