Explanation: In real life, i tend to not speak much to people until i feel some degree of familiarity, as i prefer to listen and observe instead. --> good way to make friends in real life, difficult way to make friends online. I had never participated in an online community before, and it seemed like everyone here was much more experienced and had a lot more interesting and meaningful things to say, so i frequented the forums anonymously for a long while before working up the courage to actually register. Which is why i miss the presence of Shade and Kiss and rain all the more-- because their good spirit and humor (as well as that of present company <bows around>) really helped to rally up my nerves, even if they haven't the inklingest who the heck i am. Whew. Finally got that out.
