okay I've been hearing that our lifestyle is soon to become illegal.....not sure is it's true but wouldn't it be against our constitutional rights>>> I'm thinking under freedom of expression?? any input would help me understand why our government would think of such a thing to do...........

Having a relationship where one person says "I will do what you tell me to do" is not illegal and I don't see how it ever could be.

Doing something illegal however, is illegal. And, in many places, kinky activities are considered illegal. Whether it's animals, sadism, anal sex, toys, or whatever, many kinky things we do in many places are illegal. As porn regulatations become a greater threat, as we become a focused target, it becomes harder to be "out."

Remember WE are our government.

Things we do can be made illegal (for example, in Massachusetts, there is no consent defense to assault) but states of mind are pretty hard to outlaw.

Of course, you may be reading a different constitution than I read. The one I keep handy protects certain kinds of speech but not actions and has no mention of any right to privacy or general "freedom of expression" as you seem to mean it.

So if it becomes illegal to spank our subs, then will it become illegal to spank our children as well? Will there be no more yelling, sreaming, name calling, or mind jokes/pranks to do anymore if these anti BDSM laws get passed?

There's no "if." In many places it IS illegal to do kinky things, including spanking another adult.

Depending on where you live and how laws are interpreted, it could be considered illegal to do this now.

Depending on the circumstances, all of those acts can already be considered illegal. Harassment isn't cool.

If stamp collecting became illegal tomorrow, people would still collect stamps. They'd just do it quietly and meet in private. But it would still be illegal.

Spanking un mentionables is already child abuse in some places. The cops were called on a youbge mother in my aunts apartment complex's who gave hers one swat with a soft slipper to a fully clothed behind.
