Adding the BDSM 1. 2. 3. was okay..I don't care for the adding of the other area's. Discovery of another person's life is sort of fun when it's not handed to you on a silver platter. Might as well be just a regular dating site now.

That's what I always thought it was...just specifically focused for people who wanted authority dynamic relationships.

I don't think anyone said anybodies thoughts were less important or not entitled to voice any opinons.

I decided not to fill in my list. I am not 'looking' and it isnt relevant to me as most of the people I 'meet ' here are more interested in discussing one on one. I find it much more interesting aurally or on a wasier medium than to explore than use the list. I find lists to restricting.

I also happen to agree with my favourite site slut and see this site as no different from other dating sites. The forum, however, is quite alot different from many other boards I have come across, but thats different to the profile side anyway.

I like the new "interests".

It might give some people some better ideas on what to include in their initial emails to potential contacts, rather than bra size, style of underwear and how thoroughly they shave.

Also, it might set your particular profile off from others. Since there really is more to life than BDSM (*gasp* NOOOO!

) it intrigues me much more to read that they're also into archaeology, photography, classical music and gourmet cheeseburgers, and I'll be much more apt to answer, or to maybe even send an initial email myself. I have yet to do that in here.

Actually, I think it's the opposite!

So many people ask how they can approach people they don't know about their "kinks" and not be thought of as a pervert or weirdo. I have browsed several of the "regular" big-name dating/personal ad sites on line and I always wonder that if I found a profile there that intrigued me, what would they think when they found out what ALSO interested me?

Here in this site, you KNOW everyone's got kink, and you can relax about that while you explore the entire person. I think it's like having the best of both worlds!

i like it but i did attempt to shorten my list,lol.its still long. there is alot of activities that i enjoy but isn't possible to do in this area so i took alot of those off.

I think it's a nifty addition. Use it or not as you like. I really think the "preference" levels are nifty and how they come up in order of preference.

I, on the other side, now have one more elimination method. When I see someone stating only bdsm interests I skip him - there are good chances he will just write about his fantasies and what he wants to be done to him.
I am sick of people I cannot establish any normal conversation with apart from their sexual/bdsm fantasies.
