Six months ago I move from Straterra for ADD to another med. My experience with Straterra was intense and a little bizzare.

I was very aroused the whote time i was on it ~10 months and would wake up humping the bed beneath me. I also had intense erotic dreams and would find myself with my face buried between my wifes legs. She's not a fan of oral sex and mostly found this anoying. During this period I gained more than an inch in length.I felt like I won the lotter!

I'm not sure what the point of this post is other than to share a strange experience.

Might not be as uncommon as you think...

You were lucky, Sir.  Some Rx drugs have very nasty side effects, and if you take other Rxs, or herbal meds, or vitamins, etc., the consequences can be anything from annoying to dire.

I have a friend who needs thyroid meds for his health.  You would not believe the sh*t he's gone through, trying to find a care-giver who would even listen to his concern about side effects, which were very real and interfered with his life.  Another friend has been through chemo and radiation, only to discover she has lifelong disabilities to contend with -- risks she was never informed of and never agreed to take.

If you lack confidence in your prescriber, or your pharmacist, then find new ones -- until you find good care-givers.  Don't gamble with your health.
