Did you ever start out helping someone to do one little thing but it ends up you get involved in a major project? I love my ex and I like her new guy so when they needed help moving I pitched in hand. I was going to do the electrical wiring and plumbing to install their new dishwasher and save them money by wiring up the internet, telephones and TVs. On Friday that was pretty much what I did except for hauling a huge overstuffed king sized mattress up a step ladder to throw it up and over a balcony. The telephone gear hadn’t arrived yet and we were 12 hours into it when we quit on Friday so I promised to return on Saturday. I was exhausted when I posted Say goodnight Gracie on Friday night! Saturday was a nightmare. The temp labor guys were so dumb they couldn’t work the dolly without damaging doorways and denting appliances. It was awful, they were clumsy retards. My ex’s new guy is a fellow Russian and he is no weakling but he is ten years older than me. So instead of just finishing wiring telephones and a adding a new electrical outlet at my ex’s house, I ended up hauling appliances and furniture all day. Julie’s new guy had a house nearby too so it was a juggling act between 3 houses. I moved 3 stoves, 2 fridges and concrete waterfall etc… One of the houses was on stilts so everything went up and down a winding stairways. By Saturday night I was tore up after another 12 hour long day. The last thing I remember was taking a couple of codeine and a soma for my aching back on Saturday night. I woke up for a few hours on Sunday but felt sorta’ woozy and laid back down. Now it is 8am on Monday and I am finally getting out of bed. I feel good about helping them. I installed their internet, computers, a dishwasher, a new electrical outlet, telephones and moved a bunch of appliances but, talk about being rode hard and put away wet. It’s Monday for Christ sakes… what happened to Sunday? I feel like Rip Van Winkle.

actually..it's more that in talking with him... even in just casual conversation...I have no doubt he can cause some serious ouchies..and laugh while doing it... (kinda like me...)
