This guy on alt yesterday said you were talking out of your ass if you said single tails can cut flesh, and that at best the most damge they can do is a tiny cut. Course he also says he loves to get drunk then beat his slave with one, so he could just be a troll who likes to stir up the room. Now I don't believe that, I do believe that single tails can severly cut flesh and draw blood. Have you ever seen or experinced first hand single tails break the skin and draw blood? And aren't these things we're using as sex toys similar to the ones used in history to beat plantation slaves?

Depends on the skill of the wielder and the composition of the cracker. More usually bull whips were designed to be used on cattle which have thicker hide than people.

I had a cut that ran blood (as opposed to a small drop of blood) from a very light strike. It stands to reason (for the most part anyway), that if a light strike cuts a little, a heavy strike would cut more. Cali

Single tails can, do and will cut flesh. In fact the only person I've ever seen not cut flesh is Robert Dante. I was at a demo once, held by Black Rose in DC. Single Tails...and yes the woman moved a little bit..the single tail ripped her vagina to shreds and yes she ended up in the hospital. That was a demo. However, if a person really does know how to use one its a beautiful sight. Not many do in the grand scheme of things. Most are adequate with them. The idea of a single tail is to hit and not leave a mark...at least for those experienced. To barely make contact.

I can't give you the answer...I can only give you the insight I have learned from talking to people who are into single tails and watching demo's.

They can easily tear into you. I have a mark thats gradually going away on my stomach, from where it wrapped around and popped me. I've seen some nasty pics of marks- but I'm much more a fan of the type that sub4hire is talking about. My first singletailing was on a stage with David Lawrence... O..my fucking god. No cuts, just shit tons of little purple lines everywhere. It's less of HAR HAR I R BEAT YOU, and more of almost like a sharp massage or something. Fucking amazing feeling- I'd stalk that man if I had the cash. [&:] It's the rhythm that drove me up the wall I think. The second time was ok... the guy was all over the place, and too hard. Just google up Bullwhip Scars Pictures, should find plenty of evidence that they can and have left severe cuts. I had a "One in a million" strike once that actually removed a mole from Elegant's back core and all.

yeah I pretty much figured they could can and will and have cut open flesh. I've only seen people use them with the intent to mark though sub4hire. Like at play parties after a good whipping her backs all lashed up an got cuts an stuff an they have to have this huge gauze pad over her back cause she's got open wuonds.

A single tail will not only cut flesh, if you crack it just at the surface you can scoop a CHUNK of skin out and fling it across the room where it splats and sticks to the wall. That man in the chat room was an inexperienced asshole and I imagine one day he will do exactly what I saw done as described above. A longer bullwhip can even break chunks of wood off of a cross.

nobody will ever use a single tail on me for the simple reason that it cuts flesh. i have a heart condition. i bleed ALOT and will go unconscious almost instantly should i get cut like that. it also why i will never have knife play done on me. any other flogger can be used on me.. cat of nine is the best.

Considering the damage I did to a 4 by 4 that was my first practice target I'd have to guess it wouldn't be hard to kill someone with a single tail. I've seen demos where the tip barely made contact and just left what could most easily be described as small welts but I never managed to do it. I'm either too close and make too much contact or I miss entirely.

There are different types...some are pure pleasure. Really just depends on what you are looking for. At a few of the demo's for single tails I've been to. It has always been suggested when learning. Get a piece of masking tape or something. Something that sticks..is relatively small. Stand your distance and start practicing with the tape. The goal is to hit it, but not knock it off the wall. This way you aren't hurting innocent people as you learn. You're learning aim and how hard to hit the particular object as well. Practice, practice and more practice.

yes i've seen how they can cut and scar the skin. singletails are a very hard limit for me.

In any case, OP, if this guy you were talking to was A) so ill informed that he thinks that single tails are incapable of causing damage, B) bragging about getting drunk before scening, and C) accusing others of not know what they were talking about, in spite of A & B... Then this is NOT someone you want to listen to, scene with, or otherwise trust. Walk away from this clown, and don't look back.

wow...I didn't know that about a single tail. I guess I;ve been lucky up to now. My play partner is very good with one but I move a lot. Probably not good.
