No, my friends do not know how kinky I am.....  I think they have assumptions judging by my morbid sense of humor and how fucked up I am in general, but they definitly do not know any specifics about my personal life.

Of course.  She's known everything, right from the beginning.
 
She's not interested in D/s and just wants to know I'm keeping safe -- but I know she enjoys hearing about my adventures.

Mine knows and is the farthest thing away from kinky there is.  We have been friends for about 13 yrs, so there was no way something like this would come between us. 

I don't see any reason to hide any of who I am.  Once I got up enough guts to tell her I was attracted to women (many years ago),  anything since has been a piece of cake.

My best friend died a couple of years ago but when I met her, I told her straight away what I was into. Mind you, it didn't hurt that I met her at an all female ( mainly lesbian) porn party she threw. I think when I knew she was so broadminded I could tell her anything and vice versa. She was a vanilla lesbian but she enjoyed my tales of bdsm very much.

My best friend is kinky anyway, but i cant have friends who dont truly know me...i eventually tell them everything if i think the relationship is one id want to advance. Lucky for me...didnt lose one of them. Turns out they were all kinky too, in one way or another.

Yes, she does. She, as others have said, is far from kinky, but she's not about to be weirded out over my kinkiness. (I figure if she can put up with my obsession for reading gay fiction, then she can put up with 'most anything about me. xD)

She sure does (and accepts it, because it makes me happy).  All of my closest friends know about it, and are all accepting.  My friends all know I won't try to push the way we live onto them either, so this just makes them all the more accepting.  I am very very lucky!

All of my friends know - i decided right from the start that hiding it from them would be no different to lying to them and i wasn't willing to do that.   The reactions have been mixed but every one of them has been supportive, even when they don't understand how i could do something like being a slave.   My sister shares a house with me and she finds the whole thing very amusing, especially when i come home and display proudly my latest bruises, welts, piercings or whatever.

both of my best friends know i'm kinky :) one is my former dominant - we are really close, actually more like siblings now (oddly enough), and talk nearly every day. we've known each other for probably four or five years now. he, of course, knows i'm kinky and knows of my relationship with my master, although in a lot of ways he's gravitated away from bdsm.

my other best friend, who i've known since fourth grade (so 10-11 years?) is semi-kinky, and she knows. we don't talk as much as we used to but we are still extremely close.

most of my other friends either know outright or have a good idea - it's not usually something i have a hard time telling people.

Friendships are fluid things, there is no-one I consider "best friend"... I have friends and I have aquaintences. ALL those I count as friend know what I am. If they couldn't accept Me for who I am then they would only be an aquaintence.

I can't agree with that as it stands..... I do know a few 'nilla types who are totaly accepting and cool with kink even if it doesn't float their boat. I don't hold being 'nilla' against them We accept who and what the other is... else there wouldn't be friendships.

My best friend(s) know.......and I like something interesting to talk about during those quiet moments when there is a hush in a crowded room anyway.
