...I've seen many Dominas and Doms discuss their need to have multiple subs at their disposal and I was wondering how many have/would/will afford your sub a similar opportunity. I know that in my daily life I try to serve as many people as possible and could see someone with a similar makeup desiring to do something similar in their personal life. Entering into a 24-7 LTR may put an interesting spin on things, but...let's let the discussion take place before I start poking and prodding at every hypothetical possibility. While the idea of "equality", or even fairness isn't generally associated with the lifestyle, or at leats some people choose not to highlight it, I believe that a relationship of any sort must have at least a different but equal aspect, if it has any chance of surviving. Both sides MUST be satisified or the relationship won't work. I like to ramble : /

It would highly depend on the people and the situation involved. A big factor in it would be if the arrangement was set up as O or V type poly. Would there be a hierarchy established? Is it more a training/mentoring (between the D-types) arrangement? Are you looking at this as more of a sexual service type of situation, or more of a double collar situation? There are too many variables for Me to even give an honest opinion.

Well, I am asking you specifically, not as a catch-all rule. Given your current place, your way of thinking and your lifestyle wants/needs, would you consider it? I know there are many variables, take the time to set up personal parameters if you must. I'm just interesting in knowing if it's something YOU'D consider, if your criterion for such a relational dynamic was met. I know many people get caught up in the “my property” aspect of D/s, no matter if they view their partner as a sub or slave, so I was wondering how that line of thinking could mesh with this scenario.

Myself, specifically speaking, probably would, but that has a lot to do with some factors. I already have a collared submissive, so they "My property" place is already filled. That alone takes away some serious issues that some other people might have. I also happen to be poly, so again, I'd have no issues there. I've often said on these boards that a beta sub wouldn't be such a bad thing, but I don't think I could be considered a beta Domme in areas such as being over-ruled on My personal situation with that beta. (In other words, sub serves her drink to her in her way, but serves My drink to Me My way.) I'm already the type who plays casually, so not a problem. One big factor of why I don't see this as a situation that would work out for Me is the fact that there would be no sexual service involved of any kind. Most male subs lose interest when that part is mentioned.

oh no.. not at all.. I'm being the lazy one.. its not something that's been discussed ad nauseum.. but there is someo insight in the other threads.. I'm being lazy today and don't wish to put my experience out there again... it was not easy for the boi involved.. he was the one who lost out and will never be the same I think

If my guy, like me, was bi, I would be fine with his also developing a male relationship. As he continues to be my primary, I would be his, of course. He's straight, though, and I'm not willing to share him with another woman (and will not have a relationship with another man, myself.)

Very much my poly approach... the boi isn't going to have another relationship with someone like me... fuck buddies.. boi buddies.. they're fine... me, I'm not interested in another lesbian boi for the most part... play partners.. and a male submissive yes.. but no one that is similar to her

I would never allow my slave to be in a relationship with another dominant person. I also would never let my slave play casually with someone else. I don't loan out my slaves or pass them around. Likewise, I don't train or use anyone else's slave or sub. What's mine is mine.

chuckles I don't believe I have a choice. My chosen household has 2 femdoms, and both of us are inclined to share with one another. Of course, if she had a servant who didn't share some of my interest in certain fun and games, I wouldn't ask her to borrow her special pet for my fun, and vice versa, but in general, anyone coming into our household is going to need to know how to attend either or both of us. I don't share so no, I would not allow a sub or slave to have any other owner or whatever. If they play with anyone else it's because I want them, not the other way around.

~FR~ The short answer is "it depends, but probably not." The long answer goes something like this: In my household, I am the top dominant. My SO is also dominant, but very new to the lifestyle. I expect my pets to serve him as willingly and as well as they serve me. My girl likes to top men, so I may have my (male) play partner serve her at some point. However, outside of the household, the answer is No. I tend to be too demanding of a sub's time and attention for a multi-dom situation to be successful. Thou shalt have no other Mistresses before me. [;)]

It would depend on the nature of both relationships. If the demands did not overlap it might work. Otherwise it would be incredibly confusing if Domme A had an instruction that conflicted with one from Domme B. What do you do?

On the few occasions this has happened in our household, the dominant members worked it out among themselves -- the servant indicated that there was a problem, and we sorted it out like grown adults. Not so difficult. I'd hope that if a sub was being shared around, the dominants were at least speaking with one another. However the more realistic and complicated answer is that I personally do not believe it is reasonable for me to be poly but expect my slave to be monogamous. So he does play with others, usually but not always as a top... he does bottom from time to time but those are specific time-limited scenes.
