SofMstrssBrandye -> What Difference between sub/slave (7/7/2008 8:01:06 PM)

My appologies if this rehashes an old subject.
  My Mistress has commanded me to do research on this subject. The difference seems a little gray to me.
Some background: I drive over the road and get home every 2-3 weeks. Mistress handles all money except what I need while on road (food,drink,supplies). I do have my own opinions and have a science/history background as well as technology so I tend to be short and to the facts. I have trouble focusing on listening to Mistress in long drawn out lecture/talks and tend to try to short hand what She says (I am working on this). I have never really trusted anyone completely though I trust Mistress more than anyone I have ever known and that trust grows and is not stagnant. Being OTR(Over the road) does require one to be on guard/aggressiveat times as there is a whole country that won't hessitate to walk all over you. When I get home I give this up to Her Wishes most of the time (working and improving on this. hard to switch off/on). I remember 98% of what I read and maybee 60% of what I hear.
  Any input and assistance is and will be sincerely appreciated.
Will try and log in every couple of days. Last wireless service went bankrupt so it's hit and miss out here.
  thank you all for Your time.
    Sincerely
Mistress Brandye's Slave

Here's a place to start

But really, the differences are as varied as the people who use them.  What it comes down to is what YOU and SHE perceive them to be between the two of you.
Your definitions of sub and slave are quite likely to be at least SOMEWHAT different than anyone elses.

Good luck!

(and stay safe on the roads!)

Hello SMB.  I love how you said you remember "98% of what I read, and maybee (sic) 60% of what I hear."

I deal with this in my occupation.  I often have to call doctors for orders.  I can remember almost anything I read in the policy manual, but dang if I can't quite get it calling the doc.  So what I do (which irritates the docs, so your Mistress may be the same way, I don't know) is to write down, and verify by read back what orders were given.  This way, you are guaranteeing that you have the directions correct.  Hopefully, she will understand that you are not an auditory learner, and need the repetition to get things correct.
