lol don't say that to Mistress because She'll be out there chasing one  down!!  Actually, with 900+ head of cattle across the street from Her, think She's already tried.  I swear when She sits down to a steak, it quivers.  ICK!!!

Add me to those liking "shoe leather" steak as Mistress calls it.  If there's a hint of pink anywhere i can't touch it.  Tis why i tend to stick to the salad bar when we go to a steak house (the only place She'll go out to eat).  I will eat steak She's cooked, only because I trust Her to get it veryyyy well done.  Otherwise, i'm happily munching bunny food as She calls it.

I'm not a total loss, i do like cheese

I need to cook my own meat...big fan of the bleeding meat but good god damn it needs to be warm all the way through...not enough people know how to cook steaks properly.

SO true, Jen, rare does NOT equal raw!  I wish more cooks understood that.

Right! I want it warm...and I want it warm through out the entire meal...reasonably. This is why I have no proem with french trained chefs...every one of them I've run into know how to do this.

I've found that actually baking my steaks helps me get it the way I want it...it also cuts down the drying out process greatly. OH! and I HATE it when they over marinade my meat. That just sucks.

RESTAURANT ROAD TRIP!

Okay, fellow Meatatarians, one of my friends went to Gaucho Steakhouse, and I MUST GO.  Not this week, I can't afford it, but SOON.  Advantages to the place:  1.  Giant amounts of MEAT.  2.  Total HOTTIE Brazilian waiters  3.  MEAT.

Pricey, $30/person at LUNCH, pretty much, but if you can snork back the meat the way I can, it would be worth it.  I think it's in Southfield...  Any takers?

Even tho i'm more of a lurker than a poster and don't know anyone here... i might be interested in crashing this party... cuz i'd love nothing more than to actually MEET some of you fine folk from here...

I know *I* would love to meet you in person, Imp!  :)  I will see what I can arrange for October, that will give everyone time to prepare.  Even RAY, the Teasemonster.

we invaded camille last night! hehe  she tried to hide but too late.... we found her

seeing how she too busy to come to us, we went to her.

i'll tell you this much, she aint as shy and quiet as she trys to tell us.  Mistress and i had a blast hanging out with her at her house.  And what a beautiful house!! i'm still trying to figure out how to steal that fireplace.  omg just gorgeous.

camille is a beautiful person, inside and out.  Made us feel right at home, like we've known her for years.  i'm so sad that she's moving away, guess we'll have to continue the friendship long distance.  *giggles* and yes camille, it will be a weal friendship  but only if you're twue to me *snorts*  Especially since you're my newly appointed "attorney", just keep saying "pj is innocent" and adjusting my halo for me :)

can't wait to come back up and harass you err hang out again!

Oh baloney I'm not shy lol, just check your CMail! I really had a great time meeting both of you, it makes me wish I'd done it ages ago and it makes me wish that I was staying in Mich.
It really meant a lot to me, that you came all the way over and that both of you were so friendly and easy to be around. Thats what made the difference, you set me at ease immediately. I laughed so much that my jaw still hurts.
Next time I will have caffeine diet Pepsi and regular Pepsi on hand. Oh and ice.. lotsa ice. And maybe even food (I was appalled that I had NO food to offer but at least I had a lil bit of ice lol).

Of course I'm your twue attorney! We however do need to speak about your retainer fee uhhuh. Maybe you can pawn that tin halo??
