a camille update :)

spoke to her this morning and she did in fact arrive in texas safe and sound.  Apparently she moved to civilization because she taunted me with a starbucks within walking distance of where she is living. [:-] Some days i miss living in civilization... wonder if i can pack up an assortment of the wildlife i love watching and transplant them ...  naww much rather have the critters as my neighbors as opposed to people. 

She wanted me to let everyone know she arrived safe and sound and is pacing waiting for the cable guy to show up next week.  Personally i'm waiting to hear how the contents of the POD fared and how long it took her to open "pjs" boxes.  *snorts n giggles*

And any place that has freeze warnings this early in October is??? We haven't even done our annual "color tour" yet and i've had to scramble to bring the plants inside.  Sheesh!

Thinking the entire clique got a bit of frost bite this week

I still have not had a doughnut.  Today they ran a half marathon in Rochester---WTF?  Half the roads were closed all morning. 

The last haagen dazs pomegranate ice cream bar awaits me in the freezer....  sigh...

LH there are enough cider mills around to get your hot doughnuts and cold cider from. Try Spicers on Clyde raod off  US 23 in Hartland. They have the best cider. Vanilla Bean ice cream is the best.

i prefer Parshallville in Fenton... much prettier than Spicer's. But you have to go to Diehl's in Holly for their caramel apples...

Parshaville trucks in their apples. They probably get some from Spicers.  Mmmmm either place would be a great place for a quick CM meet.

Well, i did say i like it cuz it's pretty :) lol  i'm not real big on the cider and donuts anyway - which is why i like Diehl's for caramel apples. And yes, it would... on a nice day that i could ride the bike ;)

I live by Diehls and for some reason haven't been there in years. Maybe this weekend.  Parshaville is the prettiest place of all the mills.  I also like the Franklin Cider Mill.

Never been to Franklin but i'm kinda central to Diehl's and Parshallville... bout 20 minutes from each :)

We went to Franklin cider mill last year, incredable donuts, great cider, veryyyyyyy crowded, lots of bees ( kept my epi pen in my back pocket at all times.) Honestly have no idea about there apples, I was there for the freshly fried, still hot and greasy in my hands donuts.....lol

Kitty your just down the road from me. Diehls is midway between us. UD they are great hot. Its why I like Spicers plus they have a lot of apples and fruit for sale not counting the U-pick em stuff.

doing my homer simpson imitation............ donutssssssss drool......... I love them hot, I don't eat alot of donuts through out the year, but I love a bag of hot apple cider ones once a year. I will have to look up Spicers, thanks Dnomyar.
