I'm back. Huh? i wasn't missed?

I just spent a week in the mountains, most of it screaming and clinging to posts at "scenic overlooks" OMFG. I am sooo horrified of heights and my daughter drags my lowland lovin self into the mountains?!? Missed her driveway and hit a downward sprial that takes 10 minutes to get low enough to have a "scenic overlook" OMGGGGGGG. I was screaming into the phone, Mistress was laughing Herself stupid. I freak over anything with an elevation over 5 feet.... get me up over 2000 feet with nothing between me and the bottom and umm yea....

Then as i was getting ready to escape with some shred of sanity left.... i find myself with a carseat and a puppy in the backseat. LOL. Brought home a golden retriever puppy for Mistress and a grandchild for 10 days. 10 hours in a car driving with puppy and jabberjaws ... pj needs a nap.. and valium.

At least i got home while theres still snow on the ground

tis official... i'm a michigander cuz boi missed me

and now i want to go watch the Bird Cage!

anyone go to wicked yesterday? We had house guests and the Jackson munch to attend; not to mention the royally crappy weather to keep us close to home. But we are hopeful to make the special event they are holding on the 27th... an early anniverary celebration for us. Ok, any excuse to party and get whooped works for me.

and Ms Francine.. i'd be happy to go out on a hunting trip with You and boi .. .i'm always up for wrestling bears

Well I will totally be at Wicked on teh 27th! I was there last night, and OMG what kind of vibe was I giving off??? I was being hit on by guys over age 65, and not hot desirable dudes like Garr, either! Old guys with no teef!! One sweet guy from XTC back in the day who is now diabetic and gimped up... NO way would I touch him! I hid out with Alecat, who actually CAN speak entire sentences!

ANYhow, I wanted to kick some solid ass, and I was disappointed. Le Sigh. I was sad that I wasn't out with you in Jackson, but the roads were icy, and FEH, yanno?

See you in a few weeks, though!

So, is it cold enough for anyone? When i say i love winter, i should probably qualify that by saying i can tolerate the cold as long as there is snow. After this weekend, there's not a whole lot of that left! Thankfully, we're supposed to get another 2-4" tonight - i can only hope!

I spent four long days standing in a house with no electricity, no heat and frozen pipes this week waiting for contractors. Temps in the house ranged from 15 to 25 degrees. I'd say it's cold enough. Actually, I'm not sure but I am beginning to wonder if my body will ever return to normal body temp! Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I will be leaving for Florida Saturday morning and returning on Xmas---we are heading for the airport late Friday afternoon, so as to avoid the bulk of the snowstorm... wish us luck!

apierced kitty....you must be a happy camper this morning. There wasn't a bit of new snow an hour ago and now there's already about 3 inches....and it's supposed to go on like this all day! Ugh!!!

i am actually in heaven. Of course, making the 35 miles drive home from work at 7:30 this morning sucked royally. The roads weren't nearly as bad as people were acting like. i am too tired to rant about stupid drivers. i just wish the people that are afraid to drive in the snow would just stay the hell home!
After 3 hours of sleep, i got up to find i couldn't even back my car out of the garage as the snow had drifted up to the bumper. So, i called into work and spent 4 hours plowing. i really love plowing - for the first 2 hours. Then my feet and fingers start to get numb and i wonder what the hell i was thinking... lol
Gonna grab some dinner and a hot bath and get my happy ass to bed - 3 hour of sleep in 36 isn't quite enough for me to function on!
