being in the pool is so heavenly,  and then it's time to get out an I feel like I have a really heavy person laying on top of me, and I am so wiped out it took a lot of effort to stagger into the car an then stagger into the shower to wash off after my swim.

Why do you think we feel so friggen heavy after a swim? Maybe cause we were almost weightless while inthe pool?

Yep. You get used to the water supporting the bulk of your weight, and your muscles that normally support that weight begin to relax. When you get out, depending on how long you've been in the water, it takes time for those muscles to re-adjust to the load, so you feel heavier or weighed-down.

I figured as much. Doesn't suck any less though knowing why* hehe)
