this post is meant solely as an inquiry and not meant to offend anyone in any way.

with that said, i would like to know what the attraction is of worshiping someone's feet. can someone please explain this to me?

i have never found feet to be especially attractive and, in some cases, not exactly olfactorily pleasing.

hmmmm...I had the impression (from your profile) that you are already owned. I would hope you already have your hard limits in place. But perhaps not...
Who said foot worship has to be oral? There are tons of ways to make My beautiful tootsies relaxed and even more beautiful. A lovely soak, scrub, pedicure, massage, and I'll bet even you wouldn't have a hard time dropping a kiss onto each pretty toe.
If you are so set against licking feet or sucking on toes, you might want to discuss that with a Lady, but there is a lot more to foot worship than those particular acts. And there are Ladies (Myself included) who are not into the whole "tongue on feet" thing. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't want a boy to lovingly care for My feet.

yes, i am currently owned, but the subject of foot worship has not popped up, what got my attention on this is that there are so many Ladies on this site with pics of Their feet. i just don't see the attraction. and, no...i wouldn't even kiss a foot, not my thing. i just do not find them attractive. so many germs are involved in the feet, touching them an any way is not something i am interested in.

Best way to answer this is to ask yourself what part of a woman/man turns you on immensely. Be it breasts, hands, armpits, booty etc. Then apply that feeling you get when you see what pleases you most to the feet of a woman and you will understand what turns on someone with a foot fetish. It isn't something that can be understood by those who do not have one, rather it should just be accepted. Most people that have a foot fetish don't know why they like it either, it's something that is rooted in your inner pysche as a child and grows deeper as you get older. Once you get a taste of it you want it all the time. Also don't assume just because someone has a foot fetish they will find any foot a turn on, some like painted toes, some like untouched, somelike dirty some like clean, some like smelly, some like scentless, some like shoes/boots some like bare. Foot fetish is the most common fetish out of them all so the many, many variations are limitless depending on each person as an individual case. Personally i think there's alot worse that you could be turned on by, but each to their own! As for the smell factor, the foot gives off pheromones as well which can be quite strong depending on the girl. That could also contribute to the attraction.

Also i noted you mentioned about feet being dirty and full of germs? What if your mistress asked you to kiss her foot whilst you were both in a bath or right after she showered? Also hands are just as dirty if not dirtier than feet, think of everything you touch everyday. Anyway, love of feet is the most common fetish. I have had all kinds of requests, from tongue bathing after I have walked outside barefoot, to giving me pedicures. Those who are into feet are REALLY into feet!

If it's not your thing, fine. Just bear in mind that knowing how to give a good foot massage (as opposed to a foot SQUASH) is a useful skill for a submissive.

It really is "just what tickles your fancy" for the most part.

For example I love bondage. All forms. Always have. I can tell you what turns me on and what doesn't. I can tell you what I go through in bondage, I can go through exactly what about it is delicious.

But WHY bondage and not something else? I have no idea.

I know two of my partners love feet. One of them has a true fetish about them. I have asked him many times about it, what he gets about it. He doesn't know anymore than I do about bondage. So many things to say on this topic.. where to start..

For starters.. A good foot massage feels wonderful. Toes sucking is erotic as hell and if done correctly can be a great turn on. Not all subs are good at all forms of foot worship, and it is a matter of personal tastes. For me there is the power of having him at my feet.. wishing and hoping he can go higher.. I like having my feet worshipped. That said, I'm not into "foot worship". I think there is a difference between enjoying something and having a fetish of it. Eden enumerated a few reasons of why it could be sexy. I would agree with her on all of them. I just would say that feet, like every part of my body, are something that I like worshipped. More then anything though, I like my heart, mind and soul worshipped. Is that a kink? ;-)

I can understand what you say, michael, for many many years feet had no attraction for me either. I had always been turned on by kissing and licking a Mistress' high heeled shoes and boots, even of sucking on a long high heel. But that was different: a fetish, and the act was pretty much divorced from the woman wearing the shoe or boot. there's another aspect i never understood, footwear worship, am i naive or just stupid. i just don't get that either. there are a few profiles of Mistresses that only show pictures of their feet, mostly in footwear. i prefer seeing someone's face than to see their feet. but that's just me.

As someone who has one of those profiles.. I assure it is done more for privacy, and it also conveys one of my interests. While I'm not into having someone suck my shoes, (why deprive myself of pleasure) I do guard my privacy fiercely.

Foot worship may never be for you and there is nothing wrong with that. Not everyone has to be into the same thing, there is no "one true way" to be submissive, or dominant. I can tell you that tastes and interests evolve and mutate over time. Depending on the person you are with and the situation you are in. If you are ever with someone who truely derives pleasure from having her toes sucked and she lets you know that your actions are pleaseing to her.. if you are really submissive your will find that you can't help to start loving the act, soley because it brings her pleasure.

I've seen you post in a few threads, James, and although I'm educated, and hope to think that I'm relatively intelligent, I'm at a loss to what you're trying to convey in your posts. Michael, I'm with you with not understanding the draw to a foot fetish, but have indulged a few foot minded sub men, and was pleasantly surprised by their interest. While it is not something that I would seek out, I didn't mind it at all.

I've found that when I have an aversion, or distaste toward something, or even a lack of understanding, that it's better for me to try to understand why others find it so attractive. Doesn't mean that I secretly desire to do it...means I don't want to judge others by their interest, and if I understand the draw to it, I may not be so judgmental or closed minded.
